will my problem has been going on for a long time and this is the first time i told anyone about this...

ok in Nov. 04 my mom found out her kidneys are only working 5% and now she have to go to ( i know the name but i don't know how to spell it) and she has to go 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and the days she is home she is sleeping and we don't have that much fun as we used to

well that sucks, I kind of know what you're going through I used to live with my mom, now I only see her every other week, so I know how cool moms can be, but well, there really isn't anything that you can do about it, so my advice, try to have as much fun with your mom while she's awake as you can

I have a friend whos father went threw the same thing. Unfortunatly his father is no longer with us.

I pray your mother can get a transplant.

Is she going to dialysis? That should help a lot. I'm sorry this has happened, and like thePepsiPiper said, hopefully she can get a transplant. Just make the most of your time when you're with her, there are plenty of fun things to do without actually going out and doing something.

i feel very sorry for you. I know how you feel having a family member who's not around to often, but all I can do fro you and your mother is pray that those fun days will soon return.

I feel for ya. Not having a loved one around to comfort you and help you understand things you don't can feel like a part of your soul is missing. Just pray for your mom and hope she gets better. As the other peeps said, I hope she gets a transplant.


I remember that I was in a similar situation - my dad had kidney stone or something related to his kidneys and he always sleep, never coming out much. I felt so sad that I could never see him as much.

well try talking to your dad (if your parents arent divorced). Maybe he can talk to her about spending more time with you. Or if she is sleepy a lot just do something fun but easy. Like a board game.

Just keep praying for your mom. And, care for your mom and take care of her. Take time out of your day and lay down with her, make her food for her. She will love that so much.
