Need Advice...

Okay, so, i guess this isnt really a rant, but i dont know where to put it. I'm fifteen and a sophomore in high school. i've never been in a relationship before. so i went to this metal fest at morgan high and met this really awesome guy who's a town over from me. i dont want to let a chance slip away like i always do. how can i get things started? i'm shy. what should i do to start connecting?

Yes, I agree. Just talk to him. Try to get to know him. But don't just all the sudden be like, "I like you!" That will probably freak him out, or make things awkward... unless he lieks you also. But, just get to know eachother first, and then it'll be easier to "connect."

yeah, last night we talked over the phone. it was kind of weird because we're both shy, but at least i know him a little better now. i think you're right. talking is the best way. it's so weird for me, tho. i just dont wanna say the wrong thing. and i'm far from being a pro at conversations.

I try wingin' it sometimes!!! Oh, yeah uh, just let things pop up and just be yourself around him or when you talk to him. Go with the flow and stay calm. Try to be confident too and always think positive!!!(Ok, am I starting to sound like Dr. Phil now, or is it just me?? )

That whole piece of advice, Enemyxwithin, went in a complete circle past Heaven. It's normally good to start out slow with small talk and basic facts about one another. Get into more detailed stuff when you're more comfortable with one another.
By the way, Dr. Phil is a very frank person. He's more of a sit down and tell you to "Get real!" person.

I have a boyfriend (and i am turning 13) but i asked him out and he said yes. and then he made the first move by asking me out on a date. so b confident in your self and try to call him or get together or do somthing romantic. ( U never know u might end up ad boyfriend and girlfriend)

ha, guess what? i tried it. and it turned out he was a big jerk. he was rude to all my friends and family. i'ev already gotten rid of him... hehe. it kinda figures, but oh well.
