Around 40 seems the most likely. But with the huge number of jobs he's had, it means he probably started working as a little child!

I think either one of them would be a good helper. Jim helped out at the end of season 1.

I have high doubts of both of them ever joining the team as it takes away from the plotline.

He's gotta be older than 40 years old. 5 years at least to get his Physical Ed. degree + jobs in his past + 20-25 years (not sure) at Kadic...

You're absolutely right. And he believed Jeremie and the others like he wanted to help permanently.

I don't think it would. I think as opposed to plotline, it would be a plot device. Like, "OMG! Odd and Ulrich and Yumi have all been totally PWNED! And I can't go to Lyoko! I'd look like an idiot! SISSI! SAVE AELITA!"

Yeah, but then they can't insult Sissi and they'd also have to take five minutes from the storyline to where they don't have a big struggle to skip class x.x

But they haven't been insulting Sissi... in Season 2, they were downright tolerating her. And she was *nice*... and I don't understand your second comment at all... they always skip class.

...and anyway, Odd would make fun of Sissi if they were stuck in a burning box together. That's Odd.

Sissi, definitively. I think Jim's too fat to fit in a scanner.

That, and I'm a huge fan of Sissi/Odd pairings.

I agree with everything Sithking has said. Jim is way too cumbersome for those tiny scanner things, and Sissi joining would really give OxS a chance

If a Krabe made it through a scanner already (A Bad Turn), I'm pretty sure Jim could fit in.

Ah, but consider this, my fellow forumgoer: The Krabes pretty much totaled the stupid things by leaving them.

Yeah, that's what partially ruined it for me. I always thought that Sissi was supposed to be untolerable as George Lazenby playing James Bond, but she was a bit too generous on S2. For Jim: They wouldn't have to sneak out of class (which takes five minutes of the show usually) because Jim would back them up. Maybe I'm just making a dead point, either way.

Sissi's supposed to be, superficially, overly arrogant and strong-willed. Although not something that you would like to sit through over large periods of time, is at the very least worthy of respect. But even since the first season, she has shown great interest in joining the group and a softer underside. At times of stress, she's willing to let it show, but otherwise keeps her constant attitude.

That didn't change all that much in Season 2, though she was making gradual progress. She was slowly being shown to be helpful to the group, though at first through bargaining, but it slowly got better. She still is not entirely on good terms with the gang. Odd still likes to make cracks at her, the latest being Contact (especially with the movie). Ulrich still only hangs around her either to get under Yumi's skin or for kicks. They all still laugh at her expense. But its becomiing better. I find that overall, Sissi's change in personality is only minor, mostly due to the fact that they keep going back into the past, before she can really take in the situation and learn from it. But the gang is starting to take notice. They have been treating her less harshly and willing to ask for her help at times. So even though Sissi's changes are kinda minimal, its there, and the gang is definately starting to notice. I'd like to think her change was more noticeable due to the more continuous nature of Season 2. The other season was episodic and a lot of things didn't get a chance to build upon each other. For Season 2, you can notice some carry over from earlier episodes into later. That hopefully will continue in season 3.

Really, I'd rather her not be an official member of the gang until both sides get on completely good terms with each other. Just letting her in randomly out of the blue, without each side to completely learning to trust each other means more episodes like A Great Day, where if the gang's trust in her is lacking and she picks up on it, she might just go ahead and blab. Not to mention, in-team tension means several teammates being made ineffective due to emotional complications (Routine, Marabounta, Franz Hopper, Temptation, Swarming Attack, etc). Unless Sissi is ready to put aside her jealousy of Yumi for being competition with Ulrich, she's dead weight and a potential hazard.

As for Jim, I'd rather not talk about it, right now. Maybe I'll get to him later.

Allow me to give you the Angie-made overview (yes, that's my real name):

Jim found out about Lyoko in "Code: Earth". Here, Mr. Delmas was consistently accusing him of being paranoid, first by telling that he had made continuous stories of "secret plots and passages". He eventually gets fired after hurting Jeremie, which may be one of the things that the creators decided to change about the character.

Later, when in the lab, Jim says "XANA" for the first time when he's cheering on Ulrich. He later sees Aelita.

In False Start, he sees the supercomputer for the first time. He then is horrified when Aelita faints after the computer's shutdown. He checks her pulse a while later. After that, the Kanker-creeps materialize, the two groups fight, and they do an unfortunate RTTP.

I don't think Jim will ever be on Team Lyoko. I do agree with you, Supersonic Master- it would make things too easy. Besides, Jim needs to practice his Mad Ninja Appear Outta Nowhere Right When It's Least Convenient Skillz.

Now, see, if Sissi were just randomly! ZOMG! On the team! I would hate it, because there *is* still that hostility between the two sides. CL is a show for younger kids, so it wouldn't surprise me. However, if Sissi learned about Lyoko and they didn't RTTP, and she gradually worked her way into the group over, say, the span of season 3, and then in the big climax-y thing before season 4 went to Lyoko, I wouldn't mind.

Yes, definately. I agree with you, skysong. Oh, and Hi.

Sissi is a very interesting character to look at and study. I mean, at the start of season one, she was a stereotypical preppy, popular girl whom no one really liked, or even cared about too much. However, (and yes, I know it's been said a lot) she's slowly turning from the background to one of the Player Characters. To me, this definately shows that she's going to join team Lyoko.

I think Sissi should join the gang. She just seems...like she would be a good member. Jim helped out once...but he shouldn't join the gang! Er...I think. I don't know. I agree with earlier peoples posts.

I think it would be alot easier for Sissi than Jim because Sissi is about the groups age..and she can relate to them a bit better life wise...and if they needed to get out of a tight situation with Mr. Delmas, she could just sweet talk her dad into not doing something...see what I mean.
