I certainly agree with that. Next chapter looks like it's going to be really interesting.



Let's see... aside from FullMetal Alchemist, Azumanga Daioh, and Cowboy Bebop; I don't really watch any anime. I have started watching Naruto through YouTube and have seen the first 19 episodes. Not too bad so far, I'll continue it for a while.

I'd like to find something else to get into, so I'll probably check into some of the other anime that's been mentioned on this thread, see if I can find something that I like. But first thing's first: continue with Naruto...

Naruto, Azumanga Daioh (I'd like to thank certain members of this forum that have gotten me addicted to it), and FMA. In that order.

The FMA manga has been boring me a little recently (I'd say a couple things but I don't want to spoil it), and to make things worse my brother is trying to stop me from reading it online because he doesn't want me to be ahead since he reads it when it comes out on the actual paperback in bookstores here in USA.

Naruto.... hehe I actually <b>like</b> the fillers unlike most other fans.

The FMA manga has been boring me a little recently (I'd say a couple things but I don't want to spoil it), and to make things worse my brother is trying to stop me from reading it online because he doesn't want me to be ahead since he reads it when it comes out on the actual paperback in bookstores here in USA.

The last few chapters were rather boring with all of this back story stuff going on... but it looks like next chapter shall be good... hopefully... I just wonder how long it's going to be... 60 chapters in, almost 5 years (note: according to the first book the four chapters in there were printed August to November 2001, so it's not quite been 5 years yet; there must have been some extra chapters unless someone made a mistake).

In any case, I can't wait to see how all of this plays out... it should be good.

I've got nothing better to do then answer questions like these right now. I wouldn't say <b>everybody</b> is crazy about FMA its just that some people who do like it are crazy about it as to why they're crazy about it well... maybe its just your coming across the crazy ones.

I don't want to spam so... I also like Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin.

There's always a few immensly popular anime among the "anime community." It used to be Inuyasha, then it was FMA for a while. But now that it ended, it's starting to sift more into Naruto. But as to why FMA is considered such a great anime, I've no idea. It's great, but its not the best anime out there, and the end left some great gaping plotholes. (But my rant about what they did to the anime is very soon going to become completely irrelevent, so I wont start on it.) As for FMA in general, it's pretty much all-inclusive of what a great anime/manga has. Its got lots of action, blood, and vilonce. It also has a very complex plot, which twists around in ways you never would have imagined. Its also an emotional rollercoaster. In one manga book, it goes from light and funny to action-packed to dramatical to really sad back to funny. Reading/watching it is exhausting. (Which, yes, is a good thing) And it has a great set of characters. Ed is hilarious between attacking anyone who calls him short to his deep hatred of milk. (Unfortunatly, a lot of girls watch the show only for Ed. *cough* rabid fangirls *cough*) Then there was Hughes, who was almost schizophrenic, going back and forth between obsessed father and military luietenant colonol. I could go on about all the characters, but we'd be here all day. In short, FMA is just a well-rounded anime/manga, which gathered it a large fanbase.

I thought Naruto's main-streamness is starting to die down now... Go to cons, and instead of at least 4 or 5 Naruto skits per contest you only have 1 or 2...

Taking its place, though, is the almighty BLEACH!!!! xP Bleach is awesome... and will be coming to Adult Swim in September. And pray EVERYONE that Ishida's voice is done by Yuri Lowenthal. 8D

Let's see, what anime/manga do I like? I like Evangelion, although it's a total confusing mindjob. FLCL is bloody awsome! FMA is real cool too. And I just recentley got into this gorey anime called Elfen Lied. It's DEFINETLEY not for kids! And Excel Saga is $#@! hilarious!!! So is Ranma 1/2, and I think those are the only ones I can think of.

.ANIMALS!!!! I love the whole 'save the animals' idea in it. Plus, I wish I had catlike powers like Itchigo. I've started saying "Nya!" on the end of some sentences now...mostly by acciedent.

The first manga I ever read was Pokemon, actually. I wish I had the rest of the volumes, it was really good.

But Tokyo Mew Mew was the first manga I read realising it WAS manga. The Anime > The Manga, IMO. Masha is adorablllle.

I'm reading the Pita Ten manga right now-su. A bit too much now-su, if you ask me-su. xD

Fullmoon wo Sagashite is my current favourite anime at the moment. I love the music in it and the ending... omg. Loved it. I'm waiting <s>im</s>patiently for the manga to pop up somewhere...

I should really watch the rest of Tsubasa Chronicles. -__-;

And I was first intorduced to Full Moon while searching on Youtube for Cascada songs to preview, and I thought it was pretty cute! So then I foundd a preview to look at, and I did, so there! I lovve it.

My other onwe is Ultramaniac. I so LOVE that manga! Tetsushi!!!!!!

But it's kinda creepy that Ayu adn Hiroki are the only ones without blonde hair...

And my final one is Aria. (A story about a girl who lives on mars (With an italian theme) three hundred years onto the future.) The drawings themselves are very well done.
