I'M FINALLY GETTING MY BRACES OF ON JULY 27TH!!! :D :D :D WOOT! YAY ME!! I just had to tell someone...

thats good...I hope you feel better after they are off...I know they can be a bit painful at times...I have had plenty of friends that had them...I am scared of metal braces..I dont like the metal in my mouth thing...I would rather try for Invisalign before having metal inserted in there.

lol, I had braces too for a while - it was an incredible relief to get them off after all the years I'd had to deal with checkups, snapped wires, snagged braces and horrendous tooth pain!

I feel for you man, and have this to say;

My sister had an appliance, and she complained all the time.

I'm glad I never got braces. Though, this one girl in my class did. This was around the time when Nelly's "Grillz" was popular...yeah. She wasn't left alone much.

Wait, what am I saying? Congrats!

I was with a friend of mine when she got hers taken off, she was nearly killing me by squeezing my hand so hard...I literally was numb for a good while after... :*D

Congrats! I want my braces off (had them for about 4 years). Watch out though! It hurts taking them off. But it'll be worth it I'm sure! :D

I had braces for a few years too. Although it hurt like heck getting them off... I was really happy when I got mine off. Enjoy being brace-less.

Tommy it doesn't hurt and it doesn't take that long.(dont listen to the people that say it hurts) Dr. Rosenswag will take the wires off, take the brakets off, then take the back brakets off, scrape the cement off, give you your tpo retainer and he will fit it. They will give you those stupid papers again. The person who took you in will tell you to pick out another case *I think* and they will show you how to put it in. They didn't tell me how to take it out so make shure to ask them. And you still have to go back every 8 weeks(insted of 6) to have a cheak-up until they say you dont have to come back.On August 1st is my last visit. I am so happy for me and you. :D

My teeth are just so misaligned...

I've heard that braces are attached to your teeth with a special cement that can be removed in a flash by a flick of a special device.

Wow than my orthodontist's wack. He squeezes them (practically yanking out your teeth) until they pop off...
