This has been going on for a few weeks now. I can't seem to fall asleep when I want to. My mom thinks it's because I'm getting use to summer and shes cool with it. But I'm not. At first I would just fall asleep around 9 or 10. Then when a show came on called "Mission Hill" I decided to stay up until 11:30 for the two nights that I got a chance to watch it.
But now my body won't let me go to sleep until it's 1 am or later. It's changing my mood a lot. I'm not happy when I wake up, I want to be left alone. And at night I'm bound with energy bouncing off the walls until it's all gone. It's making me go nuts. I'm prone to get major headaches if I don't get a good nights rest and this is not helping one bit.
For once I just want to go to sleep like a normal person. Not staying up until well after mid night. So if anyone has any advice please let me know because I'm sick of being a night owl every single night.
Describe the atmosphere in your room. Do you have anything that might be scary? Is your room really warm? Things along the lines of that.

Nothings scary in my room. It's really warm but I have fans to cool it off.

Yeah I do. I try and keep my mind blank but it's always running on over drive.

That might be what's messing you up. You shouldn't try to keep your mind blank. Go for a night or two with and just let your thoughts flow. You might just eventually think yourself to sleep.

try and keep your room as cool as possible..that always helps me to sleep.

Don't just try it tonight. Try it for about a week and let me know if it works.
