Hehe, so did I. I remember, every day, when I was 8, me and my sister would rush home to school, gather our paper dolls and coloring books, and playing cards, and then we would turn on the show, and just play for hours, at least like 3 hours a day, until my parents made us do our homework or eat dinner or whatever else they wanted us to do.

My favorite pokemon were, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff. I mean, Pikachu was soooo cute. But Jigglypuff, she was gangsta/punk. She could just sing her name over and over, and people would fall asleep. And then, she got mad, and scribbled all over their faces with markers. That was the BEST.

I was never into the show that much (I wanted to be, but I didn't get the WB... my quest for Pokemon was what got me into Digimon, and unlike Pokemon, I still like it). I dunno, something just rubbed me the wrong way by the time it got on the channels I had. I think it was because I read the manga (written after the show, I guess) and always thought it was hilarious and the show was so... meaningful.

I was *big* on the cards and the movies, though. I remember I went to see the first one in theatres... I've seen up to the fourth one, and I still have my whole card collection somewhere. I still think the cards rock.

And as for best Pokemon... Mew pwns every single one. Huzzah for cat thingies!

Pokemon. Wow. I used to be SOOOO entirely obsessed with that stuff. Man, you don't even know. xD; I spent my summers sitting outside in lawn chairs playing Pokemon on GBC. I forced my dad to buy me like every single card of the original ones (As in before they went insane and started spawning 5000 pokemon ouf of like nowhere) I collected the video tapes, and I cried when I couldn't go see the movies. xD;

Yeah... those were the days. Well, the days before Digimon ate my life. xD I believe we're something of a "Pokemon Generation"... cuz I mean, we all like grew up on it. Who of you never at least ONCE had the inclination to turn your hat backwards and go "I CHOOSE YOU!!!" ? I actually did the whole thing before. Like. I got one of those plastic pokeballs that came with the BK kids meals, and I also had Ash's hat (xDD SHH), and I did the WHOLE thing. It was fun but I think I broke the ball after I threw it xD;

I CONCUR. Misty was ALSO my favoritest character EVER because I have absolute no idea why. OHYEAH. Because I remember that the first friend I ever made also is named Misty, and the fact that I knew someone in real life named Misty made me really happy cause Misty was awesome and beat Brock up. (OMGSHEENAZELOS?)

And I still ADORE the games. I don't care what version it is. I will PLAY it. Sometimes my friends are like "EWW THE NEW ONES SUCK OLD SCHOOL FOR THE WIN" and I'm like "...So?" Like that one game where you could have like your own hideout. THAT WAS AWESOME. I remember I spent all my money and space on the musical note mats so I made a complete scale, then I would run around on the mats and make pretty notes. Then I couldn't put like anything else in cause the notes took up all the space so I bought like... spinny mats. And jumpy mats. And mats in which you walked over them and confetti fell on your head. OMG. I need to find my gameboy D:

And like, I would nickname ALL my Pokemon cause I was a nickname whore and I had omgggg. And I practically NEVER switched Pokemon cause before I would start, I would plan out what types I would need in my par-tay and then whatever I came across first I would keep. And then I would be obsessive-compulsive about levels. Cause ALL the Pokemon in my party HAD to be the same level or I would spend HOURS training to get my Pokemon to the right level.

Sometimes my friend and I will have dashes of nostalgia and we'll pull out the Pokemon card game. We don't REALLY know how to play so we make stuff up. I think. You know, those beads have always fascinated me... @_@

And like the anime was REALLY good up until a certain point. Yeah. When they kicked Misty I kinda stopped watching. D: Cause Misty was my point in life until Cardcaptors came along but that's another story. *cough* ANYWAY.

Like every weekday I would get up at like 6 just to watch it. Because I was turning into a crazy psycho fangirl. And I used to hate Team Rocket. I look back and I'm like D: WHAT WAS I THINKING?! Because I mean like, James is total WIN. AT. LIFE. I mean omg. If I could, I would go inside the TV and give him a hug. Because that man SERIOUSLY deserves a hug and is amazing. Like. I was watching it the other day and Team Rocket was talking about how they needed new uniforms, and Jesse was like "Omg! We need ones that are like black! And long! And have high collars!" And James added in, "With tight pants!" I was seriously cracking up and I needed air.
