At the time 'Hey You Pikachu!' was out for the 64, I didn't know what a fruit was. AKA, I was very young and the time and thinking about the moon instead of everything else. But yeah, I have the Pika 64. Its cheeks lit up when the system was on, and its foot was the reset switch. x3

They 'remade it', though, into the terror we call Pokemon Channel for the Gamecube. Let me tell you, IT IS... don't know how to describe it WITHOUT a BKO word... >_>; Random Pokemon coming into your room to steal your stuff here, Pikachu dancing to exercise videos there (and in public..)... but the free Jirachi for R/S and the Japanese Pichu Bros. video were kind of worth it. Goo Jirachi, the all mighty destroyer of every single opponent to date. xD;;

Ohh! Pokemon Snap! I loved that game! I always liked going through it to deliberately throw stuff at everything. Including the Mew level. Pester Ball x 100, awayyy! (What gas do they put in them, I wonder? :O) Haha, so fun.

Nowadays I still go to this website. It has screenshots of almost every episode, including the banned episodes (James with cleavage should have been hilarious... dang 4Kids.) so it's a good place to go for a trip down memory lane.

... May belongs to Drew. *RUNS* xD

I watched it religiously when I was real little. I stopped watching after the first season and just watched re-runs, but yeah. I still like the games.

Lmao! I had Pokemon Snap! That game was awesome! XD I used to get pissed because the flying Pokemon went too fast to take pictures of. And I played Hey You! Pikachu when it first came out. I never owned it, though.

I still have a Pikachu plushie on my bed, actually...

I have Pokemon Snap! That game is SOOOOO fun. I love it. And I have a stuffed Pikachu from when I was like 8. I gave my Pokemon Card Book to a little boy who I babysit now. He is constantly playing with it when I come to babysit. It keeps him occupied, and I'm paid 15 dollars an hour for sitting around and putting my two cents in about Pokemon every now and then. It's pretty fun. He has all the movies. So I spend my time being Pokemonized when I go to babysit him. I got him into Code Lyoko though. Haha.

Ohmigod. When I was a kid, I wanted a Pikachu plushy sooo bad... I found one at my uncle Tom's house last year and I sat playing with it for about a half-hour... I loved it. Then the batteries died. >.<

I always thought James was awesome... in the lameo Pokemon comic book I had, he chased around Jessie, begging her for a piggyback ride. And Meowth was just like "...shoot me." I loved Meowth. I wanted him.

Pokemon... man, I got hooked up to it bby New Year 2002 after waking up... CN in South America used to air 24 (or 48) hours of Pokemon by that time. I just watched it for no reason... but some of my friends from my ex-school loved the GB and N64 videogames a lot.

I got into Pokemon before the Jotho adventures began... and it was somehow cool. But as the show developed and they started to add more Pokémons, the show started to lose its appeal. I got pissed off when Ash got rid of Charizard... that was technically his most worthy Pokémon ever.

I barely watch it, since Misty got cut off the show... and I can watch Pokémon both in English and Spanish... but as for my recomendations, watch it in Spanish, especially for the Team Rocket dialogue (best thing in Pokémon in spanish dub). The entries variate a lot (according to Mexican culture) even making reference of El Chavo del Ocho, Julieta Venegas, etc.

I wished that one of the guys owned a Magmar.

And one question since I haven't seen much of Pokémon since Season 4-5 (time airing + personal life issues): how did Ash stopped using Bulbasaur?

*looks at the thread topic* *_*

Haha!!!! Pokemon!!! Omigosh, how I could go on about that show! I think that's the only other show (besides CL and Rurouni Kenshin) that has had a huge impact on me as a person. My namesake, my first fanart and fanfics, my first anime crush...they all came from Pokemon. I absolutely adored that show.

I loved the games. The card game was cool, although I was never really good at it. ^^; Of the video games, I'd have to say that they were really something...I still like to replay the ones I have just for old time's sake. I used to love (after beating the game) using the old "Missing No." trick in Red and Blue to get an unlimited supply of Master Balls and Rare Candy and make a team of 100 level legendary Pokemon. Yellow was adorable, and Gold/Silver/Crystal weren't bad additions either.

So far as the games go, I think the best thing that ever happened to me was getting my Mew. I got it at a special convention giveaway, and I still have it (I think I'd cry if I ever lost it somehow). Mew's my absolute favorite Pokemon (with Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, and Nidorino being a few of my other favorites), so I was really happy to finally be able to own and train one. *squeals*

The N64 games, in my opinion, were pretty spiffy overall. Pokemon Stadium was cool, since you could see your Pokemon in 3D, and Hey You Pikachu, like Pokemon Yellow, was seriously adorable. I won't deny crying when Pikachu leaves towards the end of the game...it was a pretty touching moment. ^^ Pokemon Snap is still the coolest one ever though. What other game challenges you to take good photographs like that? I think it was a really original concept...and a great game too. Plus it featured Mew at the end! Woot! :D

Though I've kind of lost touch with the anime (Misty leaving kind of disheartened me a little since she was my favorite human character), the first few seasons were gold as were the first few movies. Jessie and James rocked my socks everytime. XD For some reason, I didn't like Tracey as much as Brock in the second season, but that season was pretty entertaining overall. Of the movies, the first and second were for sure the best! I loved the blatant AAML hints in the second one (plus most of the dialogue, not to mention all of the "fourth wall breaking" in it was just too hilarious), and Mew and Mewtwo just continue to rock so far as the first movie is concerned. I'm eagerly looking forward for the 8th Pokemon movie, simply because Mew's going to be featured again! Huzzah! ^.^

So definitely, I adored and still love Pokemon! ;)

Oh... well, yeah, Ash wasted his best Pokémon when the new ones appeared.

BTW, is there any AshxChikorita slash around the Internet? I remember Chikorita loved Ash so bad that in any moment I thought Ash could get raped by Chikorita. Chikorita had some mad insane love for Ash when Ash held that Pokémon, lol.

Ash is an idiot. That's why I never got into the show. Ash reminds me of Naruto without the charm or the cool powers. I was a Brock fan. Tracey sucked. :whatever: Brock!!!

Mew was the awesomest Pokemon ever. They should have stopped after they made it. I mean, really. A pink kitty-thing the size of a basic Pokemon that could kick everyone else's butt from here to next week? Dude! With giant pink (were they pink? I think so...) bubbles, no less! How could they top it?

Ahh... Pokémon... brings back such good memories...

When I lived in Japan, every single little thing of every single little kid's life could have its origins traced back to Satoshi Tajiri (the inventor of Pokémon). I mean, it was Pokémon this, Pokémon that, everything Pokémon. It was so annoying, I decided to hate Pokémon.

Then, I moved to the United States. And, what did Americans talk about all day? Pokémon. Every time the teacher asked our first grade class for words or ideas or something, right before she starts, she would say "Nothing about Pokémon."

Then, March 7, 2003 came, a fateful day. I had lived in the United States along with Pokémon for almost four years... I was bored... I turned on the television to channel 47 (Cartoon Network for me)... Being broadcast was Pokémon. It was the episode where Ash was eliminated from the Indigo League tournament because his Charizard went to sleep instead of obeying him. I saw that the show was good rather than full of sin... and I became a Pokémon fan. Sadly, a few weeks later, Pokémon stopped being popular in my area.

My favorite season of all time is the one where they're in the Orange Islands. With Tracey, valuable show time was saved (and repeated cheesiness avoided) with the elimination of Brock's flirty lifestyle. Tracey was always smart and logical, and Misty was present to maintain the balance and level of self-esteem.

The show kind of just committed suicide when Misty had to go back to the Cerulean Gym. The group has always had extremely high self-esteem, willing to say (or do) anything cheesy without getting embarrased. The best example would be whenever Brock sees a girl that isn't traveling with him, he does stupid things such as hold her hands before she even knows who he is. Although Max continues the tradition of pulling Brock away by the ear, the things he says aren't nearly as good insults as the ones Misty says and also, Max doesn't pull nearly hard enough. Whenever somebody in the group got overconfident, Misty would murder him/her for being a show-off.

Now, I still like playing the games and watching the original episodes and Pokémon Chronicles, as well as going to Pokémon events. I've been to two so far: Pokémon Rocks America 2005 and Journey Across America 2006. People make fun of me at school (like whenever I'm playing Mario or something on my DS, this moron says "Are you playing Pokémon? You're such a baby.") now for maintaining my liking for Pokémon. It's just too bad I didn't like it when it was popular.

... yes. xD;; I read it once. Too weird. Ash/Latias is weirder though. Why did she have to kiss Ash in Pokemon Heroes- WHYY? *bangs head on desk*

On that subject, Ash has too many shippings! There's Pokeshipping, Advanceshiping, Agilityshipping, Altoshipping (AshLatias... BARF! xO), Kisshipping... MOREshipping... most of them started with one kiss too. >_<

And yes. Tracy was the moron god and morons.

XD I agree 100% with that. :D I didn't mind the 100 pokemon they added to make Gold and Silver, because alot of the designs were still cool, and the baby pokemon were pretty cute (I always thought the breeding thing was weird though...not to mention the infamous "Ditto" trick), but I still think the original 151 have the best designs and alot of the best personalities. ^^

On the subject of, er....Ash's various Pokemon affairs, Pikashipping was the most common of them in fanfiction (as in the Japanese version, I believe Pikachu is played off more as a girl than a boy), but I do recall seeing one or two Chikashippy stories as well. O_o

Omigosh...this is completely random, but does anyone remember when they did a Live Pokemon Musical show tour? Better yet...did anyone actually see it? I did... *laughs insanely*

You have any links to those kind of stories? The only Pokemon fics I read was yours (that one with the Evil Togepi) and saw a magazine with Ash/Meowth/Pikachu/James slash somewhere around a peruvian city. Meowth was giving head to Ash... :S

You want to read these stories, Rodri?

I tried to read Pokemon fics for a while once. It was so hard to find Ash x May though. They were all either Ash x Misty or ones about random trainers that the author made up.

DUDE! That reminded me of when I was like obsessed with FF(net). Before I changed my penname to Linii-chan, it was Miss Queen of the World. XD
