Well, for me it all started after seeing "Deja Vu," with the scenes where Odd was secretly dating Sissi online (yet neither knew). I also noticed that Odd didn't look too dissapointed when he found out who the mystery person was.

Then, the story goes to Mirielle. She wrote the first OXSi fanfiction that I ever read, Finally Fun, which is currently on hiatus. However, from that point on, I was hooked. I regularly search for fanfictions that have to do with this pairing (and am frequently thrown off because OXS can also mean OddXSAM.) Still, I also happen to notice that the few fanfictions of this genre happen to be much better then, say, Ulrich and Yumi stories, which easily overwhelm all other topics combined. That's not to say that I don't like UXY, far from it, it's just that in general OXSi stories are much better.

In short, they seem like a cute couple, and I like reading stories about them.

I will admit to liking OxS so much because it's a rare pairing (well, it was when I started writing it). As a writer, I've always been a fan of undersupported (or outright hated, as Sissi used to be) characters and pairings, and love-hate relationships (as I've said) are my thing. I don't remember when I started writing it, but I think I was a fan pre-"Deja Vu"...

That said, the reason it's getting so popular is because there's lots of evidence for it now- "Deja Vu", "The Key", and the kiss picture, and because Sissi is becoming more likeable.

EDIT: I'd say it's Odd's "OMGWTFBBQ?!" face. Like, "Sissi cleans up good!"

I don't think I really understand that. Are you saying that he might of recieved some hints of the pairing from the VA's? Because I don't think he would since they are under contract.
