Well, he definitely was crazy to do some of the things he did, but he will be missed..and yeah I used to watch the show also...what a sad way to end the life of someone who did what he did. I feel sorry for Terri*his wife* and Bindi*his daughter* and his son Bob.

I use to watch his shows when I was a kid. I thought he was cool and loved the way he went up to animals. He's the guy that got me started on watching animal planet.

As I said in two other forums already, I'm not at all surprised that this occured. He wrestled with crocodiles, fought with anacondas, and gets killed by a stingray. Most people probably expected him to die sooner or later.

When I heard that Steve had died, part of me went with him. I'll miss him. At least this brave man died doing what he enjoyed. My thoughts go to his family

He was and still is my idol. I'm trying not to cry just thinking about it. Poor Terri and Bindi and what's the little boy's name? It'll be so hard to explain to the why their daddy won't come home....
