I'm starting a new fanfiction off of ff.net. Here's chapter one.

Title: Circuit
Author: Star Way
Genre: Drama
Category: Code Lyoko
Rating: PG-13 for language and other things. >)

Summary: They thought it was all over. They were wrong.

There will be.. in the first chapter there's no real romance between them, but.... aaaaugh, you'll just have to read it to see what I mean. :P

I can't believe that not one of my 4 1/4 fanfics features a J/A romance! :omg: And I'm a bigger J/A fan than I am a U/Y fan...

I'm really glad you guys are liking my fic! I don't expect it to have many chapters... maybe five or six at the most. But you never know... Of Acid Tears was only supposed to be eleven chapters, and it ended up 14 chapters. ;P

Anyhoo, I feel really good about getting back into the fanfic world! I think I just broke free of my writer's block. =D

Writer's block is strange and can be selective sometimes.

I had gone for months without adding anything to "The Outlaw" or writing anything else. Then one day I came across the word kitsune one too many times and decided to look it up at Wikipedia. I then drew a picture showing Yumi as a kitsune hugging a highly distraught Ulrich. I called this picture "Yumi's Other Secret?" and made up a bit of an informal story around it. MewB commented on it that I should write that story after finishing "The Outlaw". Immediately upon reading that, I thought, "Right! Like I'm ever going to finish 'The Outlaw' at this rate!" I then became determined to capture that story before it becomes mired in my mind the way "The Outlaw" did. About a week later, "Yumi's Last Secret" was typed and submitted to FF. And "The Outlaw" remains where it was six months ago...

I think after a while we just get sick of concentrating so hard on a particular thing. Using fanfic as an example, you can either get sick of writing anything at all for a while, or just the one fanfic. Both ways, though, it really sucks. :P
