'Missing You'

Kinda describes how I feel right now...






Self-explainitory. Evil Aelita. The chain around her neck symbolizes the imprisonment of possestion: you are a slave in your own body.




Another 'missing you' type thing...only a little sadder. Not quite sure when the idea first came about for this...just Aelita holding a pair of broken glasses. Jeremie's glasses. And yet, she's in Lyoko. Maybe Jeremie got virtualized...maybe he's hurt on Earth, and Aelita think's he's dead...who knows. It's the inner workings of my brain...things I don't even understand...




THe Strangeling.
Too lazy to color...Just a random pic for Y.P., again. A slightly younger Aelita is crying because she's the outcast of her peers (and most of her family as well) I was orignally gonna call it 'Alone', but I liked 'The Strangeling' better. That's what they call her. A strangeling...



Geisha Goth Yumi. I ran out of Aelita ideas, so I started on everyones favorite teenage Japanese punk chick.

Female X.A.N.A.
I had to do it. It's not as creepy as I wanted it to be, but I think it still captures what I wanted. It's also fun to work with a limited amount of colors. Red, black, grey and white. That's it. It's harder then it sounds, but it's fun. Besdies...it fits the charicter.

The rose thing...it's a technique manga/anime artists use a lot. It makes it more dreamy...Roses are my favorite flower, plus they're easy to draw....And I know Yumi likes them so, there you go.

hehehe....total change of direction. I felt like taking a break from drawing the girls, and tried Odd...it came out better than I though it would! He actually kinda looks like the charicter...Don't ask me why he's in lyoko form, yet he's standing the scannor room...I couldn't think of a good background, and i didn't feel like drawing Lyoko with all the little floating islands...I"m lazy...it's raining...
