I have to say, I love the secondary characters as well, but Sissi and Jimbo are my favorites outside of the group.

I'd have to say my favorite thing about Code Lyoko is the friendship they share and the music. This sounds really corny, I'm sure, but everytime I hear the music they have, just kind of warms me up.

I don't normally hang out with a lot of people, and now recently being homeschooled, my only contact is the internet. I still do hope to meet some people who are like me and who I can call real friends when I eventually do return to school.

The music on the other hand, as I stated, does really help draw me into the show. It seems...I'm not really sure how to explain it, but it makes me...ugh, I don't know how to say...I guess joy and relaxation could be the only words to describe it.

Also, this is my first post on Lyokofreak, I've been frequenting the forums recently. It's really nice to see a lot of people into the show as well!

The Lyoko team, more so for their interaction in the real world than when on Lyoko. The friendships, angsts, good times and bad between the characters are what makes the show different from other "team that saves the world" shows.

I like CL because of their mission - to protect Lyoko and Earth from the evil XANA. It's a very powerhouse concept. I also like their virtual states. And I still wish they'd use them on Earth.

Realistic character interaction and a team thats actually a team and not one guy being the best and doing all the work and the rest just spills over into the secondary members. I find it nice that they feel like real people, not sticking strictly to the proscribed stereotypes or acting in outlandish behavior that no logical thinking human would ever do (adult apathy not withstanding); they're 3-dimensional. And again, every member gets their fair share in the spotlight and all of them shares the work. Sure some characters are more important than others, but their importance doesn't overshadow the other team members.

Jinx and Kid Flash kick *BKO*.

Another reason I like CL is all the little details one might catch- the stuff on their virtual forms, for example. Or the background characters that get interesting designs but no lines.

My favorite this about CL is (and I know this sounds corny) Jeremie. I love any show that has a kid-genius, I don't know why, but I love it. I like Jimmy Neutron too (even though I'm a freshman) but I like Jeremie better then Jimmy (FAR better then Jimmy) Genius is interesting to me. It just is.

I love Jeremy too...but he isn't my fave thing besides I don't know what I like most about....I'm just in love with it. (Especially the action)

Other than that, the bond between Yumi and Ulrich is really cool, so I always keep watching for that "special day."

I also liked the old-school lyoko battles, not using some crummy vehicles to drive around in, and the monsters actually trying to kill Aelita (I know its sounds ironic, but it actually made it interesting).

Agreed, Aelita is the godess of Lyoko and I like the Yumi+Ulrich ship too.

I wish the lyoko graphics were better in season 1 when there were no vehicles. That would be a sight eh?

I also like the whole Sissi thing. Being the kind of person who sees the good in people, I have adopted Sissi as my favorite character. It's obvious that she knows when something she does isn't right, she just doesn't normally let that stop her. I can relate to her in some ways like her sense of style and how she constantly gets shot down and insulted (although not for the same reasons ). I always get dissapointed if there isn't a whole lot of Sissi in an episode.
