For the love of Freakism, I'd go with Darkborn's Theory. But for the love of keeping my limbs intact, I'll stay neutral.
There could be a sideplot somewhere where Odd notices he wears the bandage, Attempts to find out, and fails every attempt. There could also be a sideplot where when he finds out, it's only to be revealed it's just another bandage.
