On another note, William's abscence could simply be explained by having Jeremie forge the paperwork for wIlliam to get transferred or expelled. He seems like the type to pull low grades, and it's plausible he'd leave because of it.

Well don't feel bad, LF here is just about the only board that didn't buckle under the weight of the post episode flood. I can get the index of Tech Links but get internal server errors when trying to read the threads, and the Official board utterly imploded into gridlock because they have their sql server on minimal simoultaneous connections. And I have to clean up all the new "Poor William"/"William Deserved it"/"XANA PWNZ U" spam topics.....
Anyway, I don't think I missed much on the episode except to just repeat "wow..." in shock a few more times and note that they didn't exactly leave us in a brilliant position for writing fanfics again between seasons. Oh well, I'll have to hazard a shot at it anyway.

i was worried the finale was going to be a normal episode. gess im gone. i think they made this episode to spite people that wanted wiliam to join.

I wonder if XANA and William kinda became one due to Lyoko's destruction somehow? Afterall, they were the only two beings there when it was destroyed. The monsters don't count because they are part of it.

Why would they change the show name just because Lyoko's gone forever? That makes no sense. Lyoko is the reason they all became friends and is the knot that ties everything togther. It'd be disgraceful if they changed it now.
