Who likes Rugrats but hates All Grown Up?

Postby Enki » Sat Jul 23, 2005 2:29 pm

I do. I really like Rugrats but I don't really like All Grown Up. They should cancel it and make a new show about the Rugrats in High School. Sort of like Dawson's Creek style. I know Nick would never do it since its all kids stuff but maybe Fox since it shows Simpsons and Family Guy or MTV since they used to show cartoons like Beavis and Butthead. If they made a show like that, this fan would be eternally grateful.

Ummm I like them both. I would rather watch Rugrats. But I really don't care. I'd rather be listening to music or playing the music! YES

I've never watched either very much. I've seen maybe five minutes of a few episodes from each show, but I was never hardcore about it or anything. :P And when I was little I was a Digimon kid anyway. :P
Don't bother sending me messages or anything, I'm not in charge of the site anymore.

Barely watched Rugrats on Tv, but the 2 movies I saw (that one where they all go to Paris and the other where someone's brother borns) were really good. If I'm not wrong, probably Rugrats is one of the best kiddish things Nick had ever made.

I like Digimon. :) I used to watch up to season 3 when it was still humans with Digimon partners. But then at season 4 the humans became Digimon themselves which just wasn't the same so I didn't really watch much of season 4. I also like Pokemon which I haven't seen much of the new seasons. I am seeing the movies. I wish they would bring Misty back since I don't really like May or Max. :pbthbb: It would bring back some of the old group dynamic.

I only watched Pokemon when I was in 3rd grade for about a year. And then it got boring. I still like Digimon better.

Indeed. I just only said the movies were quite good. I'm susceptible to like cartoons during breakfast...

And when I was little I was a Digimon kid anyway

Damn straight...season 1's the best, followed by the sligthly more violent season 3 and the extremely sentimental season 2 and overly unoriginal season 4.....but inlist of hotness Zoe's right up there next to young Sora nad Yolei....and Rika at the top of course grrrrrr

*cough* anyways...I've never been a fan of either rugrats or all grown up..and all grwon up seems like a kiddy version of 90210....still...Kimi's hot as hell....scorching!!

LONG LIVE OLD SCHOOL NICK BABY!

Ugh....no...good ridance to Old school nick...just ugh...disgusting....Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Ahh Monsters....and unholy poop of the sort...ugh!!

Indeed, those were the days of Digimon.

As far as Rugrats or All Grown up, I definately prefer Rugrats. All Grown Up is a blatant attempt to milk a few more dollars out of a show.

Rocko was okay. Ren and Stimpy were kinda disgusting like SpongeBob. I barely paid attention to Ahhh!! Monsters...

Ill go ahead and say my comment about hating All Grown Up is now slightly exaggerated. It's honestly not that bad of a show since I like the look of the Rugrats there slightly better than when they were babies. Go ahead and call me a liar for doing this but thats how I really feel.

Back on topic, I like Rugrats and yes I also like All Grown Up but I really think Klasky-Csupo (the studio that makes both shows) should stop with their stupid rule they have made of not hooking up the Rugrats with each other. It would make the show better if they put at least one coupling together instead of all these random boys and girls that are like one episode stands.

I love/loved the games! I have MR 2 & 3, plus the GBA version. I still play them sometimes...it's really sad when a monster dies. On MR3, my first and favorite monster, Lauren, died :crying2:. I mourned for about a week... :wahh:

Well, looks like theres some hope for anyone wishing for a Rugrats coupling to happen. In the coming season, an episode called "TP + KF" will premiere that will confirm or deny whether Tommy/Kimi will happen. Hopefully, something big happens and if it doesnt, ill root for Tommy/Lil in the future.

Wow... this is about two years old. This is a SUPER Necropost.

Please don't do this in the future.

Attention, TB3, Stefen (or is it Stephen?), CBIZumi, and Mewberries!

Could someone lock this sucker down?

I see nothing wrong with his post. I don't think there's anything wrong with making a post on an outdated thread, just as long as the post itself is not spam.

OT: I never liked the Rugrats. The whole show looked kind of depressing, and I've never even heard about All Grown Up until this post.

Edit: It's Stephen. There are other mods available, by the way. I'm sure they've found this thread before, but didn't find any reason to lock it.

Heh, ditto that. ^^ Granted a little more elaboration would have been nice...but it wasn't a spam post, really.

Incidentally, I am also of the opinion that Rugrats was awesome, and All Grown Up...gave it a fair try but just simply didn't have the same charm and wit. It had its moments, but not nearly as many as Rugrats did. *nods*
