Since Odd x Aelita and Odd x Sissi have their own threads, and I don't see a recent JxA thread, I decided to start this. Basically, you can just discuss anything JxA; whether it be how their relationship has grown and changed since the first season, or what you hope to see for them in the fourth season.

Yeah, Jer's been in love with Aelita since the show started (as "XANA Awakens" showed).... and I'm pretty sure she fell for him either at the same time or a little later.

Me too! The JXA relationship was one of the main reasons I kept watching the show in the beginning. It really is a shame that the show doesn't focus on it so much anymore. But then again, the two of them have now more important things to worry about... well, one can only hope for Season 4.

I definitely hope for season 4. A lot of things are supposed to start changing, I want so badly to know if the same goes for JxA.

I love JxA. It's just so.... I don't know. There's just something about it. I guess because it isn't as complicated or angsty as UxY can sometimes be. I like that for some reason.

Which also makes it a bit boring, IMO. it needs to start going somewhere, be it heaven or hell.

I really hope it doesn't go to hell. I HATE TV relationship trouble, just once I'd like to see a TV couple that actually STAY a couple. This is Code Lyoko, not Grey's Anatomy.

And I so support this relationship more then the "OddxAelita" thing. It's about time the smart guy got a girl. (Plus they're so cute together!!)

JxA is meant to be obvious and on the surface, it's a baseline relationship that's there even if they're not mentioning it specifically or acting on it much (as was said, they have better things to do generally.) It contrasts to the two other relations in the show, UxY's underetoned rarely spoken, and with great angst when it is type, and OddxWHOEVER's (OxSi I say, but I know he has fans for lots of other ships,) crazy goofy head over heels romanticism followed by humorously harsh reality.

If JxA is SO obvious what about YxU? They're as obvious as far as long goes.

all right, the fact that UxY will culminate into something some day is obvious to us, and even the rest of the gang, but would a random observer at Kadic get it? Probably not. It's understated whereas JxA isn't. Just different styles for the same sort of thing.

but...they're also so adorable to watch when they're flirting or whatever...it's so cute. It's the sort of thing that makes you go "awwwwwwwwwwww ^^". They have a sweet, pure relationship, once that doesn't have a lot of barriors.

I mean, if you go back and look you'll see Aelita mentioning being able to kiss and touch Jeremie when she's finally materialized.
