UxY, what are your thoughts?

Personally, I like it. It adds something to the show which would have felt a little hollow without, esepcially back in S1 when not much was going on. It's constant angst and maybe about 2 directly made statements per season, but hey, thats why people like it so much, I suspect. Oh, and writing it is difficult in fic btw, if you want to do it slowly and right at least.

Well, I'm pretty sure that the reason Yumi isn't moving the relashinship along any, is simply because Ulrich is her best friend. I think she's a little confused, as too what she should do. If she and Ulrich were to hook up, and then break up badly, that would cause extra drama between the team. I mean let's face it, Ulrich does do alot of stupid things.

Ulrich's a pathetic emo boy. [ But I still love him. ] He dosn't really know how to express his feelings. Whenever he's about to tell her, something happens. Maybe he's beggining to think that it just wasn't meant to be; even more now that Yumi told him that she just wanted to be friends.

And even though this pairing is filled with tons and tons of angst, they still have alot of compassion and feelings towards each other. In, 'Laughing fit' Yumi was hurting because her parents were fighting, and who was there to be the shoulder she cried on? Ulrich, of course. He cares a great deal for her, so much that he dosn't want to ruin their relashinship.
Their also teenagers, and teen's are very drama attracted. Their relashinship is what this world is full of today, it's so real. I guess that's why I love this pairing so much, and I guess that's why it's my OTP.

My guess is during the fourth season these two will finnaly realize that their everything to the other, and hook up. I mean, Yumi was so upset during, 'Nobody in perticular' She cried, something she usually dosn't do, ever. And during, 'Cold War' Ulrich cried for her, too. Maybe if they just sit down and talk, and try to put their feelings into words, they can understand what the other is feeling, and sort things out better then the way Yumi decided to during, 'Straight To The Heart.'

But yea, That's my rant. Ulrich and Yumi are my favorite couple right now... Out of all the cartoon I watch, actually.

U/Y made me get interested in fanfiction and opened my eyes to romance in the first place. xP It's my first sand favourite ship and I don't plan on leaving it any soon.

I dunno why I like it so much. Ulrich and Yumi are my favourite characters in the show 'cause he's cute and she's a cool character, respectively. When I first saw Swarming Attack I was like 'ooh :O' and I had a look at LF again (Yes, I got interested in CL over a year ago and I've known about LF ever since. I just got shy and didn't want to sign up on the forum. xD;;) and discovered the fanfic section. Which introduced me to FF.net, which introduced me to the CL fanfic world.

I like drawn out relationships. Not having them ask each other out until near the end of the last season makes it longer and more worthwhile, or at least have one confess to the other and the one remaining accepts it in the last episode. That's how I'd want it to end, although I think the writers aren't doing a brilliant job at keeping it alive (if they intend to, that is).

That and some fanfics that are written about them are fantastic, ahahahah. x3

In order for them to kiss, I think Yumi has to be the one to make the first move. Or she has to do something where he know's that she wont like... Scream at him for kissing her. xD
Unless the writters do something really cool where he just walks up to her and kisses her. That would totally make my day... Seriously.

I think this is the reason why I was so drawn in to the series. I've seen a lot of anime in the past and many of those "relationships" are a little cheesy and predictable. I think the waiting and the anticipation on what will happen to Ulrich and Yumi keeps the story going (besides the Aelita-Lyoko-Xana concept that we always see in every episode).

I also think their relationship is real, especially that they're young teenagers. Teenagers nowadays make all of this a big deal sometimes, but looking at Ulrich and Yumi altogether, it's not because that one is attractive physically that's drawn them to each other, but it's because that they truly understand each other as individuals when it comes to their problems (well except for the usual where one or the other mistakenly accuses each other for flirting/dating other people); they also have some things in common (their martial arts and what not); and because of this understanding and common aspects that they have for themselves that really connects them together enough for them to take their friendship to a higher level.

I have to admit that Ulrich can have an ego, but Yumi can also take things wrongly too. I think the reason why they're still going around in circles with their relationship simply because of one thing--- they probably (I'm just assuming though) never been in love before, like (falling in) love is something brand-new to them. Both may seem to want to know what they really have for each other (love or infatuation?), but neither of them really knows what "true love" really is. At least they know one thing--- they are the closest of all the best friends that anyone can think of.

I'm really looking forward to Season 4 and see if both Ulrich and Yumi would go forward with their relationship. Let's just see what happens.

Actually; Ulrich and Yumi is why I started watching the show. I used to make fun of it, and then 'Routine' came on, and... The rest speaks for itself. ^^;

I didn't realize they liked each oher til' "Swarming Attack" and then "Routine"...Oie I tried writing fics and I was the worse thing that ever walked the planet....I think the story was called "Yumi and Ulrich the romantic night(or nite)" that was 3 years ago so I don't remember.....it was on the official forum so if you heard of it flame me please.

What kind of situation the two will be in when their love is 100% revealed is beyond me. Meh.
