I'm in an extremely bad mood right now.

I mod this American Dragon fanforum, and we've always had trouble going on between certain members; I recently got myself involved in this conflict because the guy at the recieving end of it, Scot, is like a brother to someone very special to me. So I decided to try and help Scot out and see if I could do anything to get these jerks to leave him alone.

The problem is that Scot's main tormentor at the current moment is also a mod just like me, and he's been mod longer then me to boot, practically since the site was created.

I brought this to the attention of the rest of the staff, but right now I feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle to get this guy to leave Scot alone. No one else really seems to care about what's going except maybe one other mod, and he can't convince the jerk to leave Scot alone.

This goes way back on the forums, even before I joined, but I just want to help a friend. The problem is the guy I'm trying to get to leave him alone has more power then me because he's been moding the site longer then I have, and I feel like no one gives a damn about the fact that he's hurting a member of the forums because of it.

So yes, I'm currently extremely pissed off. I shall stop ranting now.

I know exactly how you feel....I've been a mod once and it wasn't pleasant.

Well, how have you tried to convince a member to leave "Scot" alone?

One of the guys who was doing it besides the mod, who I'll just call "Angel", agreed to leave him alone, as long as I calmed Scot down (which I did). But the mod is harder to convince. He keeps going after the guy off the forums. I've posted some of the conversations Scot sent me in the Staff Room, but I feel like no one's doing anything!

Hmm....tough situation...well I guess since you seem to be the only one doing something you should keep on talking to "Angel". (Sounds like he/she is no angel anyhow)

The people of this forum of your are acting a bit too insensitive. I think you should keeo trying though. You have to find a way to keep this problem big enough for someone there to handle it. if only the admin would kick in at least.
