And here I am worrying that the Internet will be little more than Sector 5-ish graphics but in a large pipe rather than a wide open sphere. Of course, I'm hoping that the artists have more creativity than that, but I'm still worried...

Anyway, come on, my Aelita looks a lot better with her eyeballs agreeing on what they're looking at. :)

All I did was edit the image and move the eyes around. I can do stuff like that, but I can't draw on my own.

Anyway, the image is at this post: http://www.lyokofreak.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=182913#182913

And yes, you click on the image's thumbnail to see the full-sized version.

And maybe because it's more round and the pic is blurry...

Remember though, this is just concept art...which means it's not necessarily what they'll look like in the show, both in style and idea.

Incidentally, I think the reason William's face may look different is because the artist was trying to show that he would be in 3D (since these are their Net forms). If you look at the pictures of Lyoko William...his face is more rounded like how it is in that drawing.

That's just my interpretation of it though. ^^

XD I'm so giving you 10 bucks if this is what the "core icon" on the supercomputer looks like in season 4. *giggles* Nice find! :D

Me, I'm expecting something more like Digimon: the Movie (only less spiders, unless XANA makes his own).

Honestly, I don't expect good things for Season 4. Season 3's ending can go rot in hell and although several episodes from Season 3 were good and decent unlike most cartoons of today, it didn't help for me to look forward to Season 4.

Then you can only hope that season 3 was merely a short stepping stone to set up the events of a vastly greater season 4, that's what keeps me optimistic for Halo 3 after Halo 2 :D

I actually agree with rodri ( if that is the name as I remember it) that season 3 sort of dashed my hopes a bit for season 4. I really really thought that the short movie about how the gang met up would be a little more in depth than it was. It was almost like to me a good portion of some more backstory was missing ( or maybe I expect to much on character origins). Season three had some really, really great momments, but i am not sure how to react to A) its shortness and B) the fact that there was no explanation about either Franz Hopper or Xana's intentions. Perhaps this will be explained in season 4, this still felt like a concept that should have been addressed in season 3. I am also a bit unnerved by the lack of character development on the part of Jeremie. he seemed to be a really static character throughout the season.

Given all of these sentiments though, I am looking forward to season four and that the story just blows my mind away.

I know everyone has their own opinions but you mind saying them softer?

I think CodeLyoko is going down hill but I wish they'd stop turning it into a soap opera. I mean my friend talks to the TV.

Friend: No Yumi! Don't! Your throwing your life out the window! DON'T DO THIS TO ULRICH!!! NO!

(Exact words)

I'll continue watching the show but I cannot say it's my favorite now. It's fun writing it but No.

I agree with this sentiment whole heartedly. CL is still my favorite cartoon to date, and will remain in my top 5, but there are way to many cheesy soap opera momments in it for me. I can almost see the point where a commerical cut would go along with that corny music. I think all of the love stories and other things can be done with great depth, but not in a way that reminds me of my mother and her soaps... because she does something similar to what your friend does. as for writing CL I think it would be great if I could ever seperate all my ideas, but I definitely enjoy reading it because I like to see peoples individual spins

I dunno, if every episode was as info packed and interesting as Final Round, I'd love CL a whole lot more. Yeah, it was quite a downer to leave us with over the break, but it was a damn good episode and proof that the series still has what it takes. I only hope S4 manages to keep up the pace and not resort to even more filler, since S3 had quite a few of those.

Meh, I can't explain how I feel about CL right now. It's like watching the grass grow sometimes and sometimes it like playing with my dog.

Uh...when I said watching the grass grow I'm referring to episode um...gosh I forget. Well the episode with the garbage attacking people and when I say playing with my dog that means I really enjoy it. (Besides who doesn't love bonding with their doggie?)

That was much of a boring post...

the difference you are describing is the difference between a plotless filler episode and episodes where things actually change and the plot or characters are developing. It's what all of us hope for, and why we like S2 best of all so far, because they actually made attempts to develop character or plot in most every ep. Or at least make the filler really interesting.

Lyoko disappeared, William was lost (and now Xana probably uses him as his host) and Franz Hopper escaped to the Internet. How can that be considered filler?

I won't. It's okay, we just have different opinions and I was merely explaining mine a little. I didn't mean to... uh... "attack" (for lack of a better word) you in any way. :)

It's more the reason why people enjoy Code Lyoko in the first place that differs their opinions on different episodes, since the show has so many different themes. Someone interested in the mystery or action aspects would want episodes more dedicated to moving the plot forward, while someone who watches for the character interaction would enjoy the same format that leaves and episode where it started, so long as it had plenty of enjoyable moments along the way. But the confusing part is the show can't seem to decide what sort of show it wants to be, and leaves people loving one half and being apathetic to the other.

That's, kind of what I think anway :eyeroll3:

Hey, we have some real news for a change. I don't know how, but like always Someguy came through and found premeir information out there in cyberspace. There isn't much indipendant confirmation, but it looks legit and I tend to take his word for whats a real source since his rep at TV.com and wikipedia is quite high for usually providing the truth. Anyway:

Official Board, Someguy3084 wrote:More new info on season 4

While that is only translatable through transcription, I can give you a rough version.

Carthage was assumed to be destroyed when William and some creepers destroyed Lyoko's core. It has been revealed that Aelita and Jeremy will be able to restore it to send the Lyoko warriors on the new battlefield. According to the magazine Manga Kids, the new battlefield will consist in some islands on the Digital Sea, called "Replikas". Each Replika is directed by a supercomputer under XANA's control. So Jeremie invented a new process called "Translation" which allow the Lyoko warrior to be materialised from one Replika to the corresponding supercomputer's room, but staying in their "Lyoko warrior" state in the real world.

Quick, freak out! I'm not sure how accurate this translation is, but it seems that real-world fighting is actually going to happen.

I would appreciate if somebody else would confirm what the magazine says, and of course proof elsewhere would be nice, but assuming it all was accurate: Island hoping from supercomputer to supercomputer under XANA's control, real world fighting. If this is real it sounds cool as hell. We can hope Moonscoop did it right.

Awesome find Lyokoteam - I recomend all fans check out this magazine article (Page 1. Page 2) showing both Ulrich's new Lyoko form, AND a large image of the Subsonics (the same image that's printed inside my copy of the Planet Net CD).

ANNOUNCEMENT

Right then - I can confirm that there will be a new virtual environment, and that yes, the kids WILL be jumping from virtuality to reality, complete with outfits and powers.

*LOUD GIRLY SQUEAL*

YAY!!!

FINALLY!!

WE SHALL SEE THEM IN ALL THEIR 2D SEXY GLORY!

Season Four better come soon, or I'm gonna MAKE it come.

---

The Subsonics ain't half bad lookin. That guy in the middle has some pretty tight pants on. The guy on the right's really cool lookin, though.

Ulrich's form looks good, but it needs some fine-tuning.
