Zunes vs. iPods.

So, I saw this thing in EB Games the other day, and I was like, "hey! It's a rip-off of iPods!" And I tried to see what made it better than an iPod, but I couldn't figure it out. So then this morning the first present I opened was this Zune device. And I was really annoyed because I thought I was getting an iPod. But I began to read that Zunes are [so far] preferred to iPods. They are "clunkier" or whatever, and not as frilly and pretty as iPods can be, but they do kick butt lemme tell you. They have a bigger screen, can play video, music, have pictures. The media player for ther Zune isn't as great and well-developed as iTunes, but you can transfer all your songs from iTunes to the Zune player. Also, most iPods tend to be problematic and die quickly... [if not, you are lucky to have a non-defective iPod] Zunes on the other hand don't die within weeks of having them, and thusfar haven't had any real problems. Thes things can also connect to other Zunes around! AND you can get songs from another Zune device... it only stays for three days for copyright reasons, but I have to say, that is pretty dang cool! Way better than what an iPod can do!

I just have to say, Zunes kick butt! iPods are cool, yes, [I had one last year, but it ended up breaking sometimes when I started chool in August] but they have many problems and defections to them.

Plus, Zunes are less expensive [than a 30 gig iPod] so really, Zunes are the way to go, even if you drop them they still work, no problem at all!

I'm all for the ZUNE. It's sort of like the IPods but cheaper, and you don't have to buy a bunch of accesorys (at least not as many as the IPods from what my dad has told me about them). When you buy an IPod, you're mostly just paying for the name. And the ZUNE has a bigger screen so it' easier to watch movies on (at least I think you can watch movies on it)

Yeah, you can watch movies on it, I downloaded the entire first harry potter movie on it this morning, along with all 1500 of my songs and a lot of pictures and i still had about 12 gigs left.

I have an iPod, but I hate using iTunes. When I heard about a Microsoft mp3 player I was like "woo, now I can just use wmp to upload music right?" but it turns out it comes with yet another ugly, pointless program.. so I'll be sticking with my good ol' reliable 2004 iPod.

I hate ipods...never had one but stil hate them for some reason so I stick with my Mp3! But Zunes look so cool...

And guess what...I left my Mp3 in my pocket and put it in the hamper. So for three days I can't find it. Until I went to do the laundry it dropped right into the floor. It went through 3 wash cycles and it still works!

You can fit more songs on it for your money. A 1 GB stick can hold up to 1000

my sister has an mp3 player/ipod/whatever you wanna call it..its pretty cool. My brother uses Itunes on his laptop..its ok.

I'll stand beside my good ol' mp3 compatible CD player any day. the things been through pretty much all forms of abuse and it still works. I have no need to veiw movies while in transit. But if I had to choose I'd go with the zune or another player. I don't trust Apple as far as I could throw them. and that new shuffle that came out? I could eat that thing by accident. lol.
