I'm divided on that one too - until it does something I decided to let it be.

(sigh)

Hi guys - sorry I've been away for a few days - things have been...rough here.

I just went and cleaned out about 15 spambots just so you know, please continue to keep on top of this :)

(Sigh)

Of the 20 accounts that signed up since yesterday, only one was genuine.

The others were hawking the usual sex and drugs, but there were some unusual ones mixed in - used cars, cigarettes, and 'black magic love charms'.

Also, one account called Lenondrug started posting, trying to grab attention with a post claiming 'he' had had a recent hip replacement, but his painkillers had run out and he 'desperately' needed help from a doctor. 'He' then killed the effect by posting about 20 spam links in a single post.

When the people who create this crap start trying to manipulate human feeling like that...I just find it unforgiveable.

The same for people who design spambots like the above which then attack children's forums!

Hmm - I wonder how many spambots the official forum has?

I agree about the other forum...all spam. :arg:

Actually, technically any link in a spambot's profile can be regarded with suspicion ;P

Don't click ANY of them, you never know what could happen..

Well caught Reesane - I just deleted the guy - I swear I've seen that account before though, and the same goes for some of the others I've deleted lately.
