ENIGMA OF XANA (eg.XANA's weaknesses)

Well, as long as it's up...

I do believe that I've found a weakness for XANA-possessed beings and XANA ghosts.

They're primarily made of electricity, correct? And electricity can be ground by water, right?

So all someone has to do is turn on a fire sprinkler system and the ghost is grounded, meaning it is destroyed because it-and ergo, the electricity that makes it up- have bled into the earth.

By now, I expect XANA's started to come up with some sort of "next Level" of Ghost without the weakness to water

Actually, I was thinking about that.

I think that XANA merely retracted the ghost from the feet, and then accelerated the legs fast enough so that only the feet got wet.

But that still doesn't prove what his weakness is.

So far we've got.

1.) Inability to undestand human emotion or logic.

"Nooo! It's not logical!!"

Does XANA think his plans all the way through?

One thing XANA does:
He underestimites the gang's ability to see through his, or his clone's, acting ablities. Yes, once and a while the gang will be fooled -usually if it's XANA himself, and not a clone- but sometimes it's just obvous. Sometimes it's the little things. Like in XANA's Kiss:
"The real Jeremie would have NEVER kissed me like that!" (though we all wish he WOULD....)

Maybe XANA has feelings for the Princess that we don't see much.

Yeah, I've thought that too. It's like...like...the Phantom of the Opera. He loves her so much he wants to kill her.
Reasons why I think that:
He kisses her as Jeremie's polymorphic clone
He holds her in his arms during Mr. Puck.
The crabs friggin' BOW to the girl in Marabouta( I LOVE that scene...)
And....a bunch of other reasons I can't think of right now...

Which, given XANA might be based off Franz's brain patterns (going by LTT theory), is a little disturbing.

If my fead-back theory is corect (Basicly, every time XANA poseses someone, his personality alters slightly) then it may stem from his posesion of Jeremie.

Or XANA could just be mimicking what he thinks is normal human behavior, and he dose not understand the meaning of the actions.

He could be trying to immitate humanity in order to demoralize his foes. "XANA's Kiss" and the one with the Yumi clone were good examples of that.

Let's see...if you really think deep about this...

In Ghost Channel, one of the early episodes, XANA manages to create a "virtual prison" simalar to the world the character's live in.

Obviously, if that was the best he could do, (assuming that XANA always tries his best to defeat the group, b/c he has no emotion) or does he?

I figure that XANA must have adopted the trait to destroy for his own reasons.


What is he after? Simply to destroy the group? Or something more?

Judging from what I've seen, XANA, so far has only wanted to exterminate Jeremie, since the day he first disturbed the computer.

Remember? Jeremie was the first, and only one to have been attacked by XANA at the time. Until he got the others into it. As soon as they entered Lyoko, they became an ememy of XANA.

It started out simple. Electric flashes, bolts of lighting. Until the repeated use of the "Back in time" mechanism. Then XANA's plans become more elaborate. Puting innocent people in harm's way in order to eventually exterminate the group.

Aelita also states that XANA only gets "madder". The only question, is:

What did Franz do wrong?

Was it some sort of programming typo? He said that XANA was created to destroy Carthage. Could it be that XANA is using his same purpose on the wrong things? Or is it something more? What happened?!

Maybe it's not 'madder' as angry. Maybe it's 'madder' as in insane.
It wouldn't surprise me if her father wasn't completly sane.

He didn't mess up in False Start and The key either, isn't XANA the greatest. I personally thnk XANA is Franz' evil side, he was writing a Journal right, who to say he wasn't emo and wanted to make the world suffer.
