Code Lyoko: Next Generation Project

Let's say, a feature-length live-action film version of Code Lyoko was released by Rouge Films in 2010.



XANA and Lyoko would be created on-screen by computer-generated special effects.

The world has changed since Odd, Yumi, William and Jeremie lost their lives in their last effort to finish XANA once and for all. Aelita was the only survivor, and she was put into a psychiatric hospital. When Vincent, Miyuki and Niko (all friends) who just happened to have moved to Kadic Academy Boarding School, have to clean up the town, their curiosity takes them to the same factory that the others lost their lives in. Upon looking thorugh the rubble, Vincent switches on the switch to the supercomputer. They notice a flash. Ever since then, their lives have been plauged by this evil entity named XANA. With the help of Aelita, they must find out what XANA has in store for them in this final round of Code Lyoko: Next Generation.

We drop in on Aelita, who is now 17, residing in a psychiatric hospital after losing her friends in the last battle against XANA.

Objective:

Come up with an elaborate way to kill off William, Odd, Yumi, Ulrich, and finally Jeremie, (in that order). Jeremie has to somehow fuse with XANA to destroy him. And the only way that XANA can be defeated for good, is if Aelita shuts down the supercomputer while Jeremie is still in it. Then she must tear down the supercomputer and leave this place forever.

From what I read, everyone wants a darker version of Code Lyoko, and this is exactly what I'm planning on.

This is what happens:

1.) END CODE LYOKO AS WE KNOW IT

Kill off all of the old characters in a tragic XANA battle. Except for Aelita.

2.) CHOOSE DIFFERENT SETTING

Change time period which increases Aelita's age to 17. Put her in a psychactic hospital.

3.) ADD MORE CHARACTERS

Add in 3 new characters, which are a combination of the old characters with a little more personality.
(Aelita + Yumi = Miyuki : Ulrich+Odd = Niko : Jeremie + Ulrich = Vincent)

4.) ADD A DOPPLE OF DRAMA

Come up with an interesting plot, and have secondary characters be mixed into the drama.

5.) ADD A PINCH OF VIOLENCE

I want the audience to be scared. XANA takes nothing from no one. Pure evil.

6.) STIR IT IN SUSPENSE

Add in plot twists. Have the audience thinking one thing and the next thing they know it's something else.

7.) FINALLY ADD AN APPROPRIATE ENDING

Something to scare you a little bit at the end, but leaves off on a rather good note, for now.

Miyuki is the only real actress who would be in the film. That's really her.

I think Xana should somehow acquire otherworldly powers (powers from space) and become a whole new entity known as Astronomical Xana. While Astronomical Xana has been acquiring his otherworldly power, he has also managed to acquire the core of our universe and has hidden it safe within relocated Sector 5. Astronomical Xana has created his own sector which is located above Sector 5 known as the Xana Space Sector which consists of eerie pitch black stars that shine the very dark eerie essence of Astronomical Xana himself. This sector also consists of his alien monsters (demons) which lurk on the otherworldly ground that this eerie sector contains.

However, when AX acquired the core of our universe, he did not hide it safe within Zone Rouge (which is a sector he created as well which is obviously located below Sector 5). Instead, he relocated Sector 5 to the Xana Space Sector high up in Xana Space and has hidden the core of our universe safe within it. This obviously poses a problem for the gang as they will need to access Sector 5 which is now somewhere very creepy and dangerous.

From the viewpoint if you were to stand on the ground that the Xana Space Sector contains, Sector 5 looks like a distant planet amongst the black stars. Therefore, the gang will require a new code to enter (what is now known as Xana Carthage) via a transport orb. And once the gang is going extremely fast up to Xana Carthage, Xana Carthage is located in nothing but pitch black empty space which consists of shining pitch black stars and has Alien Mantas flying around Xana Carthage (which have huge sharp fangs and look alien-like). But once the gang enters Xana Carthage, the music is very creepy (an alien version of the Sector 5 music) and they must face extremely powerful alien monsters contained within Xana Carthage.

But because Xana Carthage contains the core of our universe hidden deep and safe within it, that means that if the gang were to shut the supercomputer off this time to destroy AX, our universe would be destroyed as well since the core of our universe is contained within the virtual world meaning that once the virtual world is shut down, our universe would shut down as well (be gone for good). Meaning that, AX is not willing to die alone and that if he were to be destroyed, all other life forms and everything else (the entire universe) would be destroyed along with him.

That was absolutley...boring. I dont mean to be so frank, but I found it quite hard to follow. You cant aquire the core of our universe...!

However, this is the real story for now.

SUMMARY OF WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ:

The beginning credits start off with what happened to the original Lyoko Gang, how they lost their lives in the heat of the final XANA battle. Jeremie has put XANA back into a virtual prison and has sacraficed himself on Lyoko because things are just too wild on Earth. Jeremie's the only one who can put an end to XANA once and for all.

XANA had managed to copy and free himself all throughout the city. He's taken the form of a new monster that has the ability to shape shift. The characters can barely tell who is XANA and who is not.

Nearly everyone has been possessed at Kadik, including Yumi, and William, who is giving Aelita a hard time. The monsters are destroying the factory, and XANA's spirits are getting into the power source making the lights flicker and total causing chaos and mayhem that cannot be controlled. Ulrich and Odd were trying to finish Jeremie's machine that would stop some of the XANA ghosts, but XANA took over that too, and electricuted Ulrich. Rendering him unconsious.

Odd calls Aelita telling him that Jeremie's in Lyoko when the ceiling caves in, ending the phone call. Yumi who is in a hole says "in here" to help Aelita, like she's really Yumi, but then she traps her in the hole to be killed. Odd makes his way to the terminal, after having a bit of struggle with Yumi, and rescues Aelita, and is on his way to Lyoko when the scanner has been hit with debree. Most likely killing Odd.

Aelita gets Odd's phone which keeps breaking up due to XANA. She's got to find Ulrich, it's her only hope, but first, she'll have to deal with Yumi.

17 year old Aelita is narrorating the story.

Aelita(17): They were in the 7th grade when it all started. Jeremie Belpois was his name...he was a prodigy, you could say. His grade point average was 99.6. He went to a boarding school called Kadik Academy. He was building some mini-robots for a school project. And Kadik just happened to be conviently located near an old car factory that was deserted, broken down, and little did we know, hidden a huge secret that would forever change their lives. And created mine.

Looking for robot parts, he figured the factory would be the ideal place to obtain them. He'd spent a few weeks going there after school. Everyday. But he told no one. During this time, he'd spent it exploring. He found some sort of supercomputer. He thought it was the operating system that controlled everything in the factory. But he was wrong. Very wrong.

He went to the end of the terminal and switched the power on. Then he took a look at the interface. That's when he met me. He'd thought of me as an artificial intelligence at first. I didn't even know what I was. I was just a little girl in a virtual world. I was in this sort of, videogame type world. It had 4 sectors. Forest, Desert, Ice, and Mountain. And I would live in these things called towers. They were vertical cone shaped "houses". There were 40 of them. 10 in each sector, scattered around this virtual place known as Lyoko. There were also life forms on Lyoko. Monsters. They would attack me if I ever left the towers.

That's when it happened. Not only was I being attacked in Lyoko. Jeremie would also be attacked in his world. He became an enemy of a digital entity known as XANA. Surpreme ruler of Lyoko. XANA has no physical form. He just, is. He is represented by the eye of XANA. If you ever see it, you know that his presence is near, and he's coming after you. XANA activates one of the 40 towers throughout Lyoko which then changes from it's neutral blue, to red. By doing this, he can send viruses to the real world, that's what attacked Jeremie. He uses the monsters in Lyoko to keep me from finding out his most secret of secrets and to protect the towers he activates.

XANA's attacks were distruptive to the lives of everyone rather than just us. That's how the group came to be. Jeremie met Ulrich Stern, who was a friend of Odd Della Robbia and Yumi Ishiyama.. And one by one, they found out about the factory. Jeremie eventually found these scanners. They were tall, and golden. And from that moment on, he knew how I'd gotten to Lyoko. But that was only part of the mystery. They entered the scanners, and were transferred to Lyoko. They would help me deactivate the tower that XANA activated. That would stop XANA until another day.

But that was only half of the mystery. The truth was, the others who could be transferred to Lyoko and come right back. But for me, that wasn't the case. Jeremie had everything he needed to know about them to bring them back. But he didn't have the key to materialization. The key that would start my life and bring me back into the real world, from which I came.

We keep would fighting XANA whenever he launched an attack. Until the day that Jeremie found the key to materialization. He didnt find it until the next year. And I was finally materialized onto the real world once again. But that didn't get rid of XANA. He managed to steal some of my memories from me, linking me to him. So that when he was shutdown, I would die along with him. So we had to continue to fight XANA, even though I was on earth. That's when the rest of the mystery unfolded. By allowing me to be on earth, I kept getting flashbacks that led me to this old house, called The Hermitage. Where I found my old doll, which possessed a key To a train station locker which possessed a diary. My father's diary. Franz Hopper was a scientist who created Project Carthage, it took seven years to complete this project when the FBI idscovered that he had stolen illigal material, they were forced to kill him. He created XANA and Lyoko, a place to live and it was intended that XANA would destroy Carthage. But something happend. Instead, XANA didn't destroy Carthage, he destroyed my father. He was trapped somewhere in Lyoko. For 32 years the computer was shut off. Until Jeremie found it.

Having the diary gave us the ability to understand XANA. To know what new powers he had recieved. Everything we needed to know.

We have finally found what XANA has stolen. And we go to Sector 5 to recover it. But it was a trap. XANA had actually stolen the rest of what he needed from me, to escaped the supercomputer. To end the world. Franz Hopper somehow managed to restore them. Making me finally free as well. But the battle was long from over. We recreated Lyoko and got even with XANA.After a few battles, we managed to get him back into the computer...but all was not over yet:

We enter into the 3rd floor of the factory Ulrich and Odd. It's 5:00 after school.

ulrich:*with odd*you sure you can help me with this?
odd:oh come on, jeremie's done most of the work, all we have to do is follow the instructions .it just takes a while.
2 weeks later
odd:and now to test it out
ulrich:you sure it's safe?i mean, you hooked up electricity to it.
odd:don't worry, i'm ok*pushes a ball*now to start*ball falls onto a lever, flipping a domino onto a toaster over on a ledge, falling onto another lever, turning on a machine, which turns on a veritety of electronics*
ulrich:nice
odd:i know, just let me check the wiring*touches a wire*aww man, it's mssed upthis should connect here*touches other wire, gets slightly electrecuted*OWW!*falls*
ulrich:you okay?*machine tips from wind* Shocked *machine falls on odd's foot, nearly hitting ulrich*

Odd calls on his cellphone.
Odd: Jeremie! What's going on? ...Jeremie? Jeremie?!
Aelita (on the phone): Odd, Jeremie! He's on Lyoko!! And I'm afraid because-
Odd: Aelita? What's going on? Jeremie agreed to go to Lyoko?
Aelita: Of coarse not, and esspecially not all by himself. He was possessed. XANA-
Odd: He's gotten Ulrich too. If I can wake him up we might be able to ge to Lyoko without getting killedl.
Aelita: You're gonna have to be extra careful. XANA is more powerful than you can ever imagine!
Odd: I know.
Aelita: ...but what about...Yumi?
Odd: Oh my god! I nearly forgot.
Aelita: Odd? Where is she?!
Odd: The truth is...I don't know...last time I saw her, she was trying to stop the clones from destroying-
Aelita: Huh? No! Noooo!!! Aaaaaaah!!!! Ow!! Odd! Get- To- The Ceiling- Ulrich- Leave- Lyoko...*zcchkhekh*
Odd: Oh no...
scene cuts to Aelita/ the ceiling is caving in on her...

Aelita:*spots Yumi*YUMI!
yumi:*in hole*IN HERE!
Aelita*runs in*thanks, i thought i was-*sees the mark in her eyes*oh no...*climbs onto wreckage, looking for an exit*
Yumi:hehehe...*closes in on Aelita
Aelita:NOOOOOO!!!!!
meanwhile
Odd:Aelita?AELITA!oh no, i have to save her, before they kill her*runs to factory*
Odd: What the heck is going on around here?!
camera zoomes back to show all the meyhem of the factory being destroyed.
Odd: Oh my god.
Yumi comes behind him, swings a large pole in the back of his head.
Odd: Not you too...
He dodges it in the nick of time.
Odd: Aelita?!
Aelita: Don't worry about me. Just give me the phone, and go to Lyoko, I'll take care of Yumi...after you release me.
Odd does as he's told.
Yumi walks forward with a nail gun in hand.
Aelita:*almost makes it in sewer, but is hit by a nail and knocked unconscious*
meanwhile
Odd:Aelitaaaaaa!i'm ready to go to LYOOOOOKOOOOOOOO!!!ywhere is she?*scanner closes*finally*scanner flickers*?*sent to sector five, surrounded by a horde of monsters*oh no...
Aelita:*wakes up*my head...Ulrich?i need to find Ulrich.*looks around* Shocked *sees odd's machine in the distance* Question okay, chances are Odd built that*runs there to see if Ulrich is still there*
Aelita: Ulrich!
Ulrich: Huh?
Aelita: Ulrich, we need you on Lyoko, we've got a crises on our hands.
Ulrich: Where's Yumi.
Aelita: Where's Yumi...? XANA's got her, but I don't-
Yumi: YAAAH!
Yumi appears out of nowhere and shoots the nail gun towards Aelita.
she misses. Aelita kicks Yumi and she then throws debree towards Aelita.
Aelita scrambles around and manages to dodge all of the debree.
Ulrich: As much as I love you, Yumi I wouldn't want to hurt you, but it'll be a cold day in hell before I let XANA have power over you. Aelita, give me those gloves.
Ulrich turns on the machine with the use of rubber gloves. The XANA spirit in Yumi leaves her. Yumi falls to the ground. Ulrich runs over to Yumi.
Yumi: Thank you.
Ulrich: Come on now, we haven't got much time.
They run towards the monsters, and Ulrich has the nail gun.
Ulrich: Aelita, stick behind me. I don't want you to travel alone, XANA wants you more than any of us.
Yumi: What's going on?
The lights are flickering You can hear XANA monsters moan. A gaint XANA monster comes from the darkness and slams through a flight of stairs.
The stairs debree fall towards the group and Ulrich and Yumi are ready for action.

(She says this after the above is completley written.)
[... and put an end to this once and for all. But in a freak accident, XANA had managed to take us all down with him, all but me. There was so little I could do, esspecially when I was taken away and locked up in this forsaken hospital, where I don't belong. But I've sworn, I will get even with XANA once and for all, even if it had cost me my own life.]
