Gawd, not again. You go to Court Records, right? An argument similar to this happened on the older forum. You might have heard of LoG on there. Somebody stated that his avatar was 'disturbing' (*cough* naked Gumshoe is so hot *cough*) and asked if it could be taken down. 'Course, everyone went on the defensive saying that he could have whatever he likes as an avatar. Did LoG go all 'everyone hate him'? No, he didn't. He got suitably angry and then forgot about the whole thing once it was over.

You're doing the complete opposite here. That's just plain lame if you make a thread like this just because someone complained to you about your tastes. Chimera should be frowned upon for saying something like that too, but you should have acted responsibly in reply to it. Grow up.

At any rate, since this thread has seemed to have served it's purpose, and the issue has been dealt with, I believe it's time for a lock.

Remember members of LF. The only things that are not allowed on Avatar's is violent and/or explicit content, swearing, and ads/campaigns for illegal substances, mature subjects, etc.

Non-canon couples...or non-canon anything for that matter, is completely allowed here at LF (provided it doesn't also include one of the above banned themes).

I am asking that you do not promote prejudice or harass members about avatars containing views that you personally disapprove of, particularly if it's something so silly as a couple you don't support. Anyone who is caught harassing another member about a couple portrayed in a banner or avatar will be in big trouble, and I ask that any member who is being harassed about their avatar over couple pairings or the like PM an Admin or Mod so that the situation can be dealt with ASAP.
