I think the best characther to die to end the series would be Jeremie.

Sure I would like to see morons like Jim, Hiroki, William and Hervé buried alive... but none of them would have a bigger impact as seeing a characther like Jeremie fade away.

Well in that case I'd like to see all of the group die, because that would be a likely outcome if code lyoko was real, or everyone on the earth dying because of XANA blowing everyone up, an even more likely outcome. I think I'll make a video like that... MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Alieta should die, there's not much for her to do anymore, unlesss she still have to deactivate towers she'll be useless in fights(what kind of attack is energy field anyway, it's not like Yumi's super fans), she get captured for crying out loud and it must be the first or second episode as she's in her old clothes, death to alieta hail X.A.N.A.

Another character, the scypizoa, that things needs to die although it was amuzing to see it posses alieta into a X.A.N.A soilder

Thinking about it, to make a bigger impact on CL, they'll have to take down Jeremie or Aelita. Losing Odd, Ulrich or Yumi would surely cause sadness in some of us, both it won't have a bigger impact as compared to losing Jeremie or Aelita.

But with CN ruling over many stuff, we might get Flavor Flav for USA president before one of the Team Lyoko members' lives would come to an end.

I'd prefer the main characters to stay alive, and I doubt that any will get killed off. I can tell when the creators are fine with slaying their creations, and this doesn't seem like the case. In the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, one of the main characters and sources of comic relief was killed off by volume four. It's been heavily implied that other characters will die, and because of that one death early on I don't doubt it. I think that they would've killed someone by now in Code: Lyoko if they were planning on killing anyone at all- as a statement, a warning to the fans: "Don't think we won't do it".

But if they were to kill off, say, Ulrich, I wouldn't mind so much. Even Yumi or Odd wouldn't break my heart- Yumi's probably one of my favorites, too. However, if they were to kill Jeremie or Aelita, I'd be pretty mad. It's not even because I'm a Jeremie fangirl- it's because he represents a sort of...innocence. I know he's messed up plenty of times before, but he's just a sweet character. If he were to perish, I'd be devastated. What would be worse for me is if they killed Aelita. All of Jeremie's work would seemingly be for nothing. I don't think I could take watching him fall apart after that.

I think they would kill off one of the parents of one of the kids that really keeps the group together like Jeremy or Yumi. My reasoning is, the child of the victim might be so distraught that they wouldn't be much use on Lyoko. And then Xana would use that to split up the group. Whatever. I dunno. xD

I also think it would be interesting for one of the group to be killed off, but they would have to do it in a way that the show would still be able to hold itself together and not feel empty or ending right there.

Hmm...distraught child- interesting point.
The quickest way, of course, to get to everyone at once, is quite obvious: kill off Aelita. That, however, would be crossing a line that I don't think anyone wants to cross. It would pretty much end the series, or at least have it spiral down into emotional distress. (Though I must admit, it would make for some good angst fanfiction.)
I was thinking more about how Aelita's death would take a toll on Jeremie, but anyone's parent dying would hurt them emotionally, which would lead to them having difficulty fighting off XANA...

1. All he does is cause problems and act like a moron. Not just for the Warriors, but for the other students as well.

2. We've only rarely seen love in his heart.

However, I would like to see him come back...but with no memory of him ever being a fat, inhumane jerk. (Seriously, I had to deal with disgusting dirtwads like that when I was in junior high, and it was horrible, let me tell you).

I'm a horrible person for thinking this, but I'm of the opinion that if a character who isn't the primary "bad guy" is going to die, it should be someone close to the group who's helped them. Granted, Jim did help a little in Code: Earth and False Start, but I haven't seen him do much in other episodes (though I missed most of the second season). If Jim were to die, it'd be a blow to the team, but not a hugely significant one. Once again, I'm mean, I know.

That's exactly why I don't think he'd get killed off. The fans may not like someone, but I doubt that the writers would kill someone with little to no fan base. I just get the feeling that if someone were to die, it would have to be an emotional moment for everyone in the show and not someone that would get a "good riddance" reaction.
Still, we can always hope that those we dislike in CL will kick the bucket.

Heh, I actually quite agree with what you're saying. I really don't think Jim is a big enough character to really impact the show if MoonScoop decided to kill him off. I also think Jim's lightens up CL a little bit, and as season four rolls around, I think the show will be getting darker and darker as Xana gets stronger and more powerful. But if a mass or a serial killing occurs (which I highly doubt it will, being a kid's show and all), I think Jim could possibly be among the victims. What I'm saying is, I highly doubt he'd be the target of a single attack.

Sometimes I wish that it weren't made out to be a kids' show. A lot of the character angst and other drama is more suited to an older audience, and I think that there's a pretty intelligent aspect to the show. Still it gets the reputation of being a "kid's cartoon". Then again, I'll watch shows that are meant for kids and sit there laughing at jokes I'm sure fly over the heads of the target audience. But no angst-ridden, drama-filled, mass-murdering episodes will ever make the cut.
