I suppose it was only a matter of time. Of course, I really wouldn't know and shouldn't care because I really don't watch TV anymore with the exception of two TV shows. And Code Lyoko S4 hasn't aired yet either so I haven't really watched that.

Yeah. I really can't say anything about this unless I have more details on this matter and if I watched more recent episodes.

I really liked this show though. Of course, that's all my opinion. And I wouldn't be surprised if some people thought Ed was a total dumba** and should probably be shot, but he really amused me.

I'm pretty sure there are other people who didn't. I remember someone else who used to come to this board hated it because Ed creeped her out. If you wanna find out, dig through the "Shows that Cartoon Network should get rid of" thread made by Tom Bone somewhere here in General Discussion.

Would there happen to be any type of article of some type of evidence somewhere on the net that tells us this show is going to be canceled?

Are you sure the show is ending and not just being cancelled? There is a difference.. I know that aka Cartoons wanted to have the fourth season be the last, because they felt they couldn't keep up the quality and that continuing to handpaint it (EEnE was the last major cartoon to use painted cels) would be too difficult. Maybe it was their choice?

Best Day Edder

There will be a special event called Best Day Edder (A parody of Best Day Ever marathon for SpongeBob SquarePants) which will air April 27, 2007 on Cartoon Network. Every episode will be shown in order, from the first to the last currently aired episode. This marathon may be a nod to the Edependence Day marathon on July 4, 2002.

The "very last" Ed, Edd n Eddy episode will not be shown at the end of this. The last episode of the marathon is the last episode of Season 5. There is a new Ed, Edd n Eddy special showing on May 11, 2007, as well as the yet to be shown Season 6.



So who knows? I guess it's a "Wait and see" situation.

If it is ending, I'm kinda sad. I mean, it's one of the original "Cartoon Cartoons," a group that included Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab, Courage the Cowerdly Dog, and other great cartoons. It outlasted them by a while, huh?

I'm sorry, but I must say, I'm kind of happy that they're canceling/ending EEnE. In my opinion, it was a bad show with no plot and just stupidity all around. Ed was just plain stupid, Double D had no idea what he was talking about and Eddy was corrupting the minds of little kids with his "scams"...
