Although one wonders, when William first showed back up at Kadic, was that really William, or XANA puppeting him completely? 'Cause if it was that last one, he did a GREAT job, as much as I hate to say it.

I don't know. I think it's William, only evil, like his morality's been overwritten. But I guess that remains to be seen.

Also, poor Aelita and that fall she took virtualizing into Carthage x_X

The scene that really got me was when William loaded her onto the manta and put his foot on her side. It was probably to keep her from falling off, mantas lacking seatbelts, but it had such a look of ownership to it. Kind of "I went hunting and got me a young doe".

It was a really good episode. I bet that Ulrich was wishing he was somewhere else. the music was probably too loudbut yeah that fall did look painful. I can't wait until they get the new outfits and weapons(or at least upgraded weapons) that'll be so cool

XD Same here! Poor Odd...the future king of Disco (especially since he clearly did end up enjoying it ).

Jim doing his disco performance at the end was hilarious, although I died earlier when his fanclub showed up. That was priceless...I half expected to hear the classic "Beatles Chord" and have Jim run out of the gym with his fans chasing him.

Was it just me, or did the quality of the 2D take another step up? *giggles* Oh, I can't wait to snag me some screenshots of this episode

I do believe the quality has gone up another step. I'm glad they didn't change the style of the 2D animation (as those professional posters and concept art might have lead on) and the CG they've been using in the 2D scenes seems to be blended in much smoother than in the last season. *nods*

Yeah...I got the same feeling...kind of wanted to sock William for it...then again this is XANA we're dealing with at the same time. Aelita certainly seemed rather disgusted when she woke up again.

"funky" in the elevator got an outloud laugh, and almost nothing from this show ever causes me to really laugh. But I'll say no more so as not to spoil.

Hands down, that was one of my most favorite parts. I loved the little dance he was doing as he said it to, and as the elevator doors were closing. Oh Odd...we you. ^^

XDXDXD Not to mention, he's become some sort of super shadowkahn (a la the "Jackie Chan Adventures") and can just travel where he pleases in shadow form. I'm definitely liking him tons as a villain.

Jeremie posing as Mr. Dunbar was absolutely hilarious, incidentally. I half-expected Aelita to doosh him when he started to get ranty about Sissi and kept going on and on. *snerk* That was definitely another one of my favorite scenes.

Yay for no more "keys"...that's helpful (and makes sense...why program something like that back in? ^^; ).

I love how the Digital Sea looked in this episode too. It was all like...ORANGEEEEEEE! XDXD Very pretty though...I loved the splash animation that accompanied William's dive into it. *nods*

I want that Black Manta of his now too...that things just too cool...it even has reins! ^.^ It's like a horsey...only more flat and not a mammal.
I loved the animation for the way he rides it too...the weight shift was very realistic. (Animator Geek Moment )

Aww, I wanted to give Aelita a huge highfive when she first woke up and just blasted the heck out of William with her Energy Field. That was sweet! That's why one doesn't mess with Aelita and her glowing energy fields of doomy doom.

Definitely an awesome episode, even if it was just "set-up" for the season (that's what a season opener's supposed to do ^^ ). Perfection! I can't wait for the rest of the season! ^_^

Which reminds me...massive kudos go to the composers on the new tunes (Jim's Disco tune, William's theme, etc.). I wish they'd put out a background soundtrack CD now. ^^

I liked it ^^ I kinda jumped a little though when William started explaining Lyoko a second after they saw him. I thought he was still talking to Sissi. I guess either I'm stupid, or they didn't make it obvious enough that there had been a slight scene change ^^; Probably the former. His slinky new superpower had me giggling with glee. Oh such glee did I giggle with. I flinched when Aelita fell on her head. That looked like she broke her neck for a moment. >_o And with JIm's Paco thing... the fanart... THE FANART IDEAS!! Odd's such a dork! XB

This is the first time in months I've stepped foot into the Code: Lyoko boards, and the third post in this section since I joined. Wow.

William definitely looks great. I don't remember his voice like that--mind you, the last time I watched CL, it was a few months ago--but I'm definitely liking that older feel to him. He's got a pretty neat outfit and sword as well. It also was pretty cool to watch Jim and Odd dancing, but I was going nuts when Odd's phone was ringing. It was the exact ring tone as mine, and just as luck would have it, I misplaced my phone earlier today, so I was slightly annoyed once I realized it was the TV.

"Funky", lol. That was pretty funny. But exactly what happened when Yumi and Ulrich were fighting those Creepers? Looks like Yumi messed up and smacked her face along the wall, and Ulrich...pistol-whipped the Creeper when he had the right chance to kill it?

William was pretty good as well--as mentioned earlier, placing his foot on Aelita's stomach made it out to look pretty bad (in a good way). I was hoping they would show the Lyoko warriors in their new outfit, but I guess they can't let go of everything at once.

The graphics have definitely been improved, though. The animation is a bit better, but from the old trailers, the orange digital sea, and the tunnel they exit Sector 5 from (which looked EPIC, by the way), it's a lot better.

Jim should be the new internet phenomenon after that boogie, too.

Oh well, that's enough restating for now. Back to lurking.
