Y'know what frikkin sucks? I stubbed my Toe on the Edge of my Bed, and it shattered the Nail and got all bloody. My Daddy wrapped it up, and I got so freaked out after he finished, I couldn't see straight and was dizzy. Prolly from shock. Now I'm curled up at the Compy with a Diet Pepsi~
I'm just so scared that if it won't stop bleeding, and what if they hafta gonna take my Toenail off.....

Hmmm... drink lots of blood to replace blood loss. Just kidding. But don't put weight on it, and ice always helps. And toenails grow back.

I did that too, you will be just fine misha. It wont need to be removed or anything, You will feel ok after a bit.

Ouch! I had that happen to me, 'cept with was one of those giant doors at Macy's.

Just relax, and apply pressure to the wound. Your toe isn't a major artery so you don't have to worry about blood loss. Just apply pressure, wait for it to clot and keep it clean.

It will take awhile before it is completely healed and you
may even end up with a
BRAND-NEW toenail..
Just make sure you keep it nice and clean so it doesn't get infected...
My dog was eating corn-on-the-cob once...and she bit through my finger nail...
it was pretty gross for a long time....but it got better...
...and now it looks normal!!!
......but that happened a few years ago...so the normal looking finger thing makes sense.

...And...don't feed dogs corn-on-the-cob.....

One time, I gashed my toe pretty badly on a metal desk leg. It became infected, but I dealt with it by using hydrogen peroxide on it to kill the infection, and otherwise keeping it wrapped up. It'll hurt for a while, but you should be alright.
