Do you want a copy of the original file that you can superimpose it over your image of choice? :)

Yes? Well just copy the logo from when I posted it earlier, lol - doesn't bother me.

I used the one you linked to, and I've done all the superimposing, but I'm currently re-doing the stars, I'm using Gimp and I don't know how to work it very well, so this will take a while...

Out of curiosity, what did you use to make your avatar? Photoshop or something else?

The free demo of a program called 2D-Design for the background lineart, which is coloured and superimposed under the Carthage template using MS-Paint.

Ahgh! Now I have to remix my avatar... TB3 and his dumb hypnotically fascinating information... :D

Hmm... NATO... June 6th, 1944... maybe...
Will Season 4 actually explain all this Carthage craziness?
(yeah, the cool links in my old sig died. :( A few nerdy newish projects are here. )

Lyoko422's "Project Carthage- United States of America, Michigan division" avatar updated! Now with less purple! (You may not see a difference, but the old one had a purple tint due to the way I made it, so I made a new one in a different way. Actually took less time, but that's because I knew what I was doing, for the most part.) To get back on topic...

Perhaps we will get more in depth on the Project Carthage conspiracy/mystery, and perhaps learn who Waldo Schaeffer is. However, am I the only one who thinks that it will stay a mystery, or really isn't a big deal after all... I mean the show is geared to 8-12 year olds after all... [/blasphemy]

(salutes) - Project Carthage, United Kingdom Division reporting in! ;)

As for backstory, I don't know for certain - but I got the feeling from Paris that some aspects are going to be explored - which ones, I really don't know.

It's no fair that you got to go to Paris and do all that stuff... I thought the British hated the French? (Forgive the American stereotyping...)

Which leads me to another question... why are there British people watching a French TV show?

I love France myself, lol - two of my best holidays ever were there (my Godparents have a villa in southern France and I enjoyed a great holiday there not long after I grew to love CL in summer 2005 - a year later exactly I was in Paris) - beautiful nation, lovely people - and I found Paris easier and nicer to explore than London :)

As for why I watch CL - it was aired here on Satelite Television - I saw it, liked it, grew to have a closeness with it, and generally feel my life has been enriched by it :)

I, on the other hand, well the closest I've ever been to Europe is... Canada. Lovely country, though. Hooray, Maple Syrup! I've always wanted to go to Britain and/or France and/or the rest of Europe... but that costs lots of money which I, as a 15 year old, lack.

Wow. Enriched by Code Lyoko? I just like sci-fi... I can't remember why I liked it so much, but I did... Season 2 was my favorite. I watched it ever since the first few episodes on Cartoon Network. (I still remember the long wait between Seasons 1 and 2... I gave up hope almost...)

Ah, I'd love to do Canada - very lucky for you to have such an awesome nation as a neighbour - and yes, part of the reason the trip was possible was because I was 19 at the time, had my own car, and was able with the others to raise £600 (about $1200) to pay for the ferry, hotel, food, cost of living etc.

I came in several weeks before S2 (lucky for me) - and yup, I definately feel CL enriched my life - because of it I had a great experience, grew more culturally diverse, met some awesome people, and found an encredibly close circle of dear friends online - I also found this place, and I consider it an honour to have risen to Admin. Through LTT I also learnt a lot about science - I also find it amazing and touching to feel I have had some influence, however small, on a cartoon loved by thousands :)

And TL, my brother - because of CL he discovered he enjoyed editing together AMVs on the computer - and now from that he's studying film production at College - I've also found CL useful material to use in my university work, and the show and fandom have helped keep me sane during the past two years.

THANKYOU CODE: LYOKO AND ALL THE LYOKOFREAKS - YOU'VE ENRICHED MY LIFE! :)

You're welcome TB- though I know the rest of these guys are slackers, I worked hard to enrich your existance. XD.

Nah, Just kidding. I love all you guys!

However, TB, I would like to point something out to you.

Everyone here knows about the Nazi swastika, right?

Well, long before the days of the Nazis, the Swastika was used as a religious symbol for peaceful purposes.

The same goes with Spanish Priests. If you saw one running around the United States, you'd assume that they were a member of the Klu Klux Klan, a radical pro-american hate group! (the outfits are the same.)

The point is, that though the symbols are very similar, and they are almost identical, it is possible that they have a route source that could be NON conspiricy related.

For example, I thought that the Carthage logo was a silhouette of an eagle.

Just saying...

You're welcome :) and check out the Avatar that Lyoko422 made for me!

And yes, that's what I mean. I did read your first post.

What I was saying was that symbols can have vastly different uses but a common origin. It's possible that the black shape in the Carthage Logo had the same roots as the Air Force logo without it being a conspiricy. It's like how words in French and Spanish are similar because they have roots in Latin.

EDIT: It seems that he was ALREADY making it before I asked him. Whoops.

That's what you think...mwahahahaha!

Nice points on iconography though - oh and Sithking - I think you saw the Da Vinci Code - if so you left out the Devil's Pitchfork/Poseidon's Trident and the Madonna/Osiris

Hehe - I wonder what happened though - when this logo was first designed in S1 I don't think any of the Carthage Plot/Backstory existed - it's curious to try and issue meaning to something when the true meaning may be one of the art designers thought the stylised eagle looked cool and used it.

Yeah, I did see the Da Vinci Code :D but I fact-checked my data and that stuff is true. (well, all except for madonna/osiris. I dunno about that.)

Yeah... pretty cool!

I loved the DaVinci Code, the book and the movie. Poseidon is one of my favorite Greek gods. It's a shame they made his trademark Trident a devil symbol... but oh well. And every time I see Madonna I think of that singer lady whom I share a home state with. Madonna was born in Monroe, Michigan. They named their airport after her.

MEANWHILE, BACK ON TOPIC...
Hey, you never know, they could have had the whole Carthage thing planned out by then. I doubt it, but you never know...

From my conversations with Sophie it seems those aspects were written between S1 and S2 - she and Jerome collaborated on it.
