MoonScoop Holds Code Lyoko Event

Heh...this thing was big...really big. I'll get around to translating the bulk of it all but, here's a basic sum-up.

MoonScoop held some sort of event where they invited alot of the staff of various Code Lyoko websites, among others. At the event, there was food, games (like the new DS game), and appearances and Q&A sessions by Jerome Mouscadet and other MoonScoop personnel.

Anyway, there was also an advanced screening of episode 84, "Missile Guide ("Guided Missile")" as well as one of "Crash Course", I believe. ^^

In addition to that, a third new XANA monster was revealed (and this one's a real terror called the "Kongre"), a picture of which can be seen in the link at the bottom of this post.

Among the questions answered during the interview were questions such as, "What is Aelita's mother's first name?"; "What happens to William when he's 'devirtualized'?"; and several other questions regarding the links between the Hoppers, Waldo Schaffer, and Project Carthage.

I'll have a much better translation up later, but, enjoy the pretty pictures (one of which is Jeremie's new Earth outfit I believe ^^ ).

So the new monster is like a conger eel? And though I didn't see Jeremie's new outfit in any of the pics, I did see it in the Isreal>USA thread in one of the episodes (Replika, I think). I look forward to a translation of this, Mew.

Um. WOW. I love Jeremie's new pants. And his hoodie-collared thingy. That is just the awesomest cross between nerd and cool. Which is Jeremie. Yes. I want me a pair of those pants.

Now all I have to see is Jeremie in a Azumanga Daioh-style penguin suit, and my life is happy for all eternity.

Will one re-examine the mother of Aelita? Jerome will answer us that yes, it will appear in particular in an episode of season 4 and revelations will be made on it. Besides we learn the name from this woman: Antéa!

From which does the name come from Aelita? First name which will have of carrying his/her mother: Aèl!

Which created the new costumes? Tania Palumbo! The artistic director! (Alas this day goes away!)

What numerical sea? An ocean of numerical data... And Lyokô seems a hollow planet, a small island in the medium of this ocean which encircles it! XANA took refuge there at the end of season 2...

What becomes William when he is dévirtualisé? It remains in the form of data-processing data (undoubtedly protected by XANA) which materialize by black smoke...

From which do the initials come from XANA (Its?il...)? Carthage project...

is Waldo Shaeffer related to Franz Hopper? Yes, very dependent... Franz, XANA, the Supercomputer, Antéa and Waldo are all related to the Carthage project!

will one Re-examine the Jellyfish in Season 4? Yes... (will not know We more;))

Why the Numerical Sea is sometimes red, sometimes blue? It becomes red when the activity of XANA is strong there!

Which is the new monster of the poster? Kongre!

Here's what I can pull out- Antea is Aelita's mom's name, we'll find out more about her soon, something to do with a 'Ael', XANA somehow went to the digital sea when he escaped or something, Willie can come back after a devirtualization, we'll find out more about this Waldo Shaeffer guy, the Schyphyzoa'll make another appearance (but what will it do now?) aand...the fishy is a Kongre. Yay. Hopefully you can make sense of that.

Hehe - aww, I was hoping 'Antea/Anthea' (it's given as 'Anthea' in one of her emails to me) would remain a secret between Sophie and me for a while longer - she shared the name with me a few months ago and I was going to hide it as an easter egg in 'Lyoko Decoded'.

But it looks like the French fans had a great time. Shame that this event was exclusive to the French sites, but understandable with the language barriers.

My mistake. The pic in question was, in fact, Jeremie's new clothing design. My eyes decieved me (coupled with all the painkillers I'm on for my teeth), and I was mistaken. My appologies for possibly launching unnecessary speculation.

In this image, I see the logo for Universal Studios. I am guessing, because I have no clue what all this says... but could there be a Code Lyoko movie? Or does Universal do more than movies?

Antea (or Anthea) is a beautiful name... I think I may just name my daughter that... if I ever have a daughter, and I don't want to. Is that pronounced "An-tay-uh/An-thay-uh" or "Ant-ee-uh/An-thee-uh"? I like the first ones better.

Well, Universal runs Viacom, which does Nickelodeon, so yeah, they do do more then just movies.

I don't think so... NBC owns Universal, and Viacom is CBS. In any case, it says "Universal Pictures Video". Do they distribute the CL DVD's?

Also notable, to me, is the EMI logo... Has there been a CL soundtrack released? If not, there probably will be....

The version that came stateside...was the English version. ^^;

You can always get the French version though online, particularly from Amazon.fr.

I've got both versions - they are both quite cool. I do like how in the English version, the lyrics are clearly about stuff from CL - the song 'Little Angel' is blatantly about Aelita and Jeremie.

I don't know if aanyone's aware of this btw but cl.fr have posted an interview with the Subdigitals which presumably Moonscoop wrote, revealing that this group is British, with two members from Manchester and a third from Glasgow - it notes that all three attended Kadic as well, which proves that the school recieves students from many countries - this also adds another aspect to Jim if he has British relatives.

Oh and Chris' favorite TV show is The Simpsons - good taste
