I mean, we all want to finally see an authentic YumixUlrich scene that doesn't involve arguing for once, but not if that means cutting the show!!!

I thought the unspoken rule was to never give the audience everything they want, because then their relatively short attention span will move on to something else! (not us Lyokofreaks, it will only inspire us even more!) but audiences in general.

I don't have a problem with a new story, but I don't think putting it in the future would work well. I'd rather see some other facet of the Project Carthage wackery come to light- something as big as Project Carthage surely left a larger legacy than some hidden junk in the corner of an auto factory.

That would require a new name, though, so it would not be Code: Lyoko season five anymore than Atlantis's seasons count for SG1.

I think that, if anything, it'll be a few years later where a new group of kids come in, likely also from Kadic. Personally, if they do this, I think that the old crew SHOULD return but simply not as the main cast.

Sophie Decrossite, this is freakin' ridiculous for you to make 26 new episodes to a show which we know that current plotline is going to end! Just destroy XANA for good in episode 90 and be done with the show.

Oh, and I remember, Episode 80 is not the end. There's still more to go.

Your username means nothing to me. I have yet to hear from any CL website or from Moonscoop that they're going to make a 8th season. If the 4th season turns out to be good, they'll make a fifth one (Sophie Decroisette herself has spoken about it). The spinoff thing is just the dream of a CL fan, which I doubt it would happen. Ulrich Stern is not a characther popular or powerful enough to get a spinoff show out of him (powerful characthers being angel from BTVS and Joey Tribbiani from Friends, jsut to mention a few examples of characthers that got their own show).

Ya know, in my opinion, Code Lyoko is like a good joke. You can keep it goin' for awile, and everybody loves it. If you start tryin' to make too many variations of it, It gets old. But if you just keep sayin the same joke over and over again, It gets annoying.
