I've actually changed my mind now. Hearing more about Pearl has made me want to get it. So I'm getting Pearl, and my bro gets Diamond. 2 of my friends have Diamond anyways, and I wanted something different. :]

I really dont get what the difference is...

My friend Ashley was gonna get one, and I said i'd get the opposite so we could trade, but It just seems kinda, weird. Last time I played a pokemon game was that one where youwere on this raft and took pcitures of random pokemon... at a slumber party.

ahh... pokemon snapshot. good times, good times.

they should remake that game for Wii, with all of the pokemon, instead just, like, 55 or so.

Pokemon is just a marketing scam just to earn money so they can brainwash people to take over North Takoma (go John Fahey and Matt Groening) and France. That's why I don't watch it and watch quality programming like Code: Lyoko, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and I Love The (Insert Decade Here).

Anyways, Pokemon should have Bill Cosby yelling obscenities in it in order to let me watch it.

He he...pester balls...when I was younger and actually played pokemon Snpa, that had no dirty connotations. Now, I can't help but think of the mid in the gutter interpretation of that phrase.

It's all very scientifical. |D

Remember the game Hey You Pikachu!? That was weird. You had to be Michael Jackson to play that.

Your possible attempt at humour is failing. Baaah! But I never got the chance to play that game- it never came out in Europe as far as I remember. D: As punishment for your post, I'll force you to order a copy of Pokemon Channel + a Gamecube and play it.

Now Pokemon Snap was FUN. I think I kept taking pictures of everything EXCEPT the Pokemon. Mew had me really frustrated though. I thought that if I used... pester balls (THANK YOU STONECREEK YOU'VE FURTHER DAMAGED TEKIRAI'S BRAIN >[) I'd scare it away, but I got all 'GRARGH' and threw like anything I could at it. Then I figured out that's actually what you do. Duhr.

On the subject of Pokemon, what does the word Pikachu mean? Chu is a sound effect for a kiss and I think pika is something along the lines of sparkly... Sparkly-kiss? Wth? o__O;

Pokemon Snap, that was a good game. It did get a tad repetitive after a while, but finding new secrets made it great. I remember that every other time I played it, I found something new. Definitely had a lot of fun with that game; Arcanine was (and still is) my favorite Pokemon, and though my interest in the franchise has waned, I would still love to play that game for the nostalgia.

I still play Pokemon :D
I have no problem admitting it! It's a fun game, especially if you play with friends!
I have Pokemon Diamond and my husband has Pearl. We trade Pokemon (only certain ones are available in each game), battle, and bs each other. (I'm 24 and he's 22, so we're older and still enjoy the game series :P)
The graphics are really a step up, and the mini-games are really cute. (I love to make Poffins and make my Pokemans love me~~~~ lol)

The show I'm not too fond of, but I'll watch it if CL just ended and nothing else is really on. I think it could be a lot better if the english VAs didn't have high squeaky voices.

I remember reading an article years ago that Pikachu meant something like 'mouse' and 'chu' is the sound that a mouse makes. :umm:

ya know, some of you guys might be intersested in www.pokemononline.org, we're making what will one day be the greatest online pokemon game ever!

But please, if you do go there, read the FAQ and possibly the World Concept Page, (definately worth the long-ish read!) 'cause you don't want to end up using your first post to make a thread that has already been answered millions of times in the wrong section.

Look forward to seein' you there, any suggestions you may have that aren't *too absurd* are welcome! :)

"Pikapika" is a Japanese sound effect for electricity sparking, and "chu" is the effect for a mouse's squeak. Electric mouse xD ^^

Anyway, I might as well admit it xD I'm into Pokemon. Or rather, the games anyway, and somewhat the cards. I used to watch the anime <s>religiously</s> quite a bit, but I've paid less and less attention to it ever since the Hoenn seasons started. I still play the games though xD I'm about to start my second run-through of Diamond, actually..

That is very extremely true. Nonetheless, I've really been working on Diamond ever since it came out and I'm almost to 400 in my dex. I'm still having trouble getting a Wii for Battle Rev though.
EPIC FAIL!!
