Girl 'lost virginity' to TV actor
A woman has told a court she lost her virginity to comedy actor Chris Langham in a hotel room when she was 14, a few months after first meeting him.
Chris Langham has denied the charges against him
The woman, now 25, told Maidstone Crown Court Mr Langham had taken her to the Kensington Gardens Hotel in London.
Mr Langham, 58, from Kent, has denied 10 counts of indecent assault and two counts of a serious sexual offence on a girl under 18 between 1996 and 2000.
He also denies 15 counts of making an indecent image of a child in 2005.
He said if he wasn't married and in a relationship we could give it a go
Alleged victim
The woman, who was an aspiring actress, described to the court the first time she and Mr Langham had sex and the various sex acts he enjoyed.
She also said she had two or three pregnancy scares which she discussed with Mr Langham in a Chinese restaurant.
"I remember him saying there was a small chance I could be pregnant and if I was he would arrange an abortion," she told the jury.
The woman said that as time passed, the pair had sex on almost every occasion they met, with the most common place being in his dressing room.
They also had sex in his black Mercedes and at his home.
She said they showered together "four or five times" in hotels and had sex in the shower.
"He said it was nice that we had our own little secret and that he loved me and he said, 'If I wasn't married and in a relationship we could give it a go'."
Chris Langham starred in BBC TV series The Thick of It
Earlier, the woman told the court she was stunned when Mr Langham first kissed her, during an acting lesson in his dressing room at the Palace Theatre in London's West End.
"It was a soft kiss," she said.
"I sat there stunned. I wasn't expecting that."
The alleged victim said that she and Mr Langham, of Golford, near Cranbrook, had been reading through scripts of Shakespeare and he had been teaching her breathing techniques.
At the time Mr Langham was appearing in Les Miserables.
He has also worked in TV for many years and in 2006 won an award for best television comedy actor at the British Comedy Awards for his roles in BBC TV series The Thick of It and Help.
The case continues.
Sound like an attention whore thing. Langham's a twit for nailing a underage girl. But she's also to blame. The things people do for attention and fame... meh.
Anyways, who wouldn't love to have sex with an actor/actress?
