Now if you were to click on the address bar and hold the enter (or F5) key by having some object stay on that key, it turns out that it refreshes the topic so fast that the computer doesn't like have any time to process all of it and as a result, you will only get a few views higher instead of a whole bunch of views (or you would get an error in doing so). Try that for yourself. Try having an object stay on your enter key (or F5 key) for a while in attempting to refresh this topic many times and see for yourself.

It works for me. Tried it on a random Freewebs site with a visitor counter so I wouldn't waste the forum's bandwidth. That, and (this is the last thing I'd think of saying right now) Neopets answers your question.
Once in an editorial (It was a VERY long time ago it was written and I found it in a fansite that kept account of all important questions answered, so it'll take me a while to get the text again since I can't remember the fansite's name), someone asked what amount of refreshing a shop page would be breaking the rules. They used 'put your cat on F5 while you make a sandwich' as the example before unacceptable situations came in, like what I posted earlier. Therefore, it IS possible for a site to take it into account. I'll paste the question when I find it. There's also auto-refreshers.
The fact that you actually haven't denied doing this makes me laugh very hard.
EDIT: I forgot to say- when I first got the idea refreshing was being done I readied a post and double-checked you were really doing it before I clicked Submit. It suddenly stopped so I left it alone and viewed this board another way. You were still doing it, so Paint was opened. I'm aware that the F5 trick doesn't work FOREVER thus the pause in views.
EDIT 2: Also I noticed two things: 1) YOU were the one who pointed out the whole thing at first, and you NEVER post in threads like this and 2) It stopped whenever you weren't online, until today when you came back and made that 'prediction'.

A lot of courage. I would never sing in public, let alone put it on the net. You got guts and I think that deserves some credit. I also liked the song.
