I somewhat agree with youon the whole gossip thing. I hate that wehave to be taught about stuff like George Washington. I'm more worried about now then about the past.

School is inportant to our life's .Like some people, I hated school .I listened to teachers but never really got anything out of it .

At the moment I'm looking for a job and due to the fact I did crap at school I not getting much lucky .In the three years since I left school I have the crap job (currently working at bunger king ,I'm thinking of quitting soon).

School is how you make it .If you what it to be fun speak to someone about it .It's a great place to make great friends.Plus the fact you got all these club's open to you .find something you like (Code lyoko/anime ) and join that club (art club, anime club )

Please try and find what the school you go to can give to you .Don't waste the few years of you life that you can be having fun(I know there classes but still try and have fun ) .Since writing these theard I notice how much of my life I could of spent having fun .But WASTED.

Like what Lyoko Soldier said, have fun if possible, I got a 4.0 on my report card, yet I have time in school to keep up friendships, outside is a different story, since I have ADD. It's not because I use it as a crutch, but because I'm in a Science and Techology program. (More Work)

I'm normally not the one to vent but right now I need to. I hate school why are we forced to go? I think middle school sucks because no one listens to what you have to say. I feel that everywhere I go even here. I hate it so much when no one listens to me! I find it so annoying.

Ah, that sucks. I feel your pain. Ever since I came to America, nobody wanted to hear what I had to say because they had no idea what I was talking about. (Plus, I couldn't speak English, and they didn't even listen to me when I said "I don't speak English.") And yeah, it sucked, probably just like the way it's sucking for you now. But sadly, in this society nobody cares about what we think. It's basically the people who can make people listen to them that get their point across, and if you can't do that, then tough luck. But I'll always be listening to you, if I have time.

I just hate that no one really understands where I'm comming from when I say that: "no one understands me or anything I do". I normally don't care what others think about me but no one says what they're saying about me to my face. Seriously does anyone have anything better to do than gossip? I don't care if you don't like me just say it to my face. I don't like to hear gossip at all. It drives my whole family insane when someone doesn't say anything to our faces. Don't get started on how catty girls are. The girls at my school drive me isane when they don't tell you what they're saying. And when someone tells one of your closest friends about you doesn't that annoy you. I know a lot of you know where I'm getting at but MIDDLE SCHOOL SUCKS!!!!!!!! I seriously need to vent about this right now. Since i'm sick it's easier to make me mad and I'm sorry if I blow off on anyone I just don't get why people don't tell things to anyone's face. Are they scared they'd start a fight or something?They've already instigated something if they talk about someone am I right?

Ooh, that also sucks. It's like people just make assumptions about you, like Oh, your feelings are hurt because other people are mean to you, or Oh, the homework's getting to you, am I right? Gossiping is just something that people like to do. If they say it to their face, they feel like they're going to get in trouble. And if you start being mad at them, they'll just laugh at you. I personally hate this kind of stuff because they're being silly and joking around while you're being serious. That's just pure degration. But, you know, people do it, and we can't really stop them, can we? Nah, I believe you should just hold your head high and do well in school, because someday you will be out of middle school. Because if they really spend that much time gossiping, then their grades probably aren't that good. So if you do well in school and get into a good university, in the future it'll be them working at McDonald's and you telling your friends "I heard so-and-so failed school!"

But, whatever you do, just keep going in life. You'll be out of middle school someday. Work hard, don't drop out or do anything stupid like that. School is very important; your resumé is critical for finding a job. Get good grades and nobody will have anything to gossip about you.

Middle School isn't that bad, besides, you're only 1 grade away before you can go to High School. (Unless you flunk... )

Anyways, here are some tips.

Just keep calm, if you're not like one of those "Wannabe Gangsters or Rappers." Stay out of their way.
Don't participate in fights, Don't die XP and never...Repeat NEVER....Snitch...

I am smart but I'm very lazy. I am capable of getting straight As but I really don't care for it much for what I want to profession in. I'm planning on going to Japan as an anime artist. All my friends say that I have the talent and I could make it big but I might not. I don't see that I need the core classes for drawing and stuff like that.

Don't worry about it now; there'll be art classes in high school. And also, you're still pretty young; you've got time to hone your anime skills. I also plan on moving to Japan, but I doubt I'll do anime for a living.

Then again, back then I was too shy to speak my mind...

Middle school itself didn't suck for me. Sure, there were some teachers that I hated, and a few weird moments... but I didn't hate the people.

I hated the school. The water tasted like metal, there was no AC, so it was always hot in the summer and hot in the winter, the building was really old and small, coupled with about two thousand kids, not a good combo.

Oh, I just LOVED my old school for the same reason. Isn't it great when they let everyone cuss each other out and openly talk about sex, but they won't let you throw a snowball?

You're right. Middle school sucks.

But guess what?

High school is better. WAY better. You have a lot more freedom, and the teachers tend to be nicer, at least where I live.
