Well, I was browsing some skins for WindowBlinds (Windows XP + Vista skinning app), and guess what I found...

Certainly interesting... But I imagine it takes up a lot of space.

But I like the colors of the Yumi one! The screencap is pretty too! And the cellophane bubble texture scheme on the start menu is very nicely styled.

But I don't trust a company that names its star product after an emoticon. I mean come on. XP. Has no one noticed that?

Are they Vista-only?

Props to whoever made the themes, though. They know a good web browser when they see it.
(yeah, the cool links in my old sig died. :( A few nerdy newish projects are here. )

Heh, yay Opera!

Well, it's called WindowsBlinds, basucally it's a twenty dollar program for Windows Vista/XP (evil Vista) that allows the set layouts like start menu, taskbar, and window themes to be customized. However, it tends to take up a lot of space, and can slow down a computer that has a lot of data on it.

But that doesn't mean that those aren't awesome. I particularly like the little charachter images in the taskar in the corner. ANd there's some nice plays on Opacity for the Aelita taksbar.

But apparently it was made with a french version of Windows... Foreign-ness!

Imagepera FTW.

Back to the problem at hand:
I believe those skins can be used for either XP or Vista. I'm not sure though. I don't personally use WindowBlinds because it's too... clunky.

*Gets urge to research how to make an Opera skin, then make a Lyoko skin for Opera.*

*Remarks at how specific his urges can be.*

Do a good job, and I might just leave FireFox and try to deal with Opera's slowness from time to time.

The WindowBlinds, it would be cool if it's limited to one account on a computer, cuz my dad would have a fit. :pbthbb: But those current CL themes don't really interest me.
