Just to say a few things to the combattants here:
MakeYourself85, I don't know why you'd post something like that for the simple sake of posting something insulting (not to mention completely inappropriate for the open forum that little kids can view). This thread hadn't been posted on in 3 days and that link came in response to nothing that I can see, and certainly no personal attack against you and even if there had been a personal attack, responding in that way would not have been appropriate.
I don't care if you're expressing what you feel is a popular opinion or not, posting something like that for the sake of hurting someone else's feelings or in the effort of trying to start a fight is wrong. Please don't do that anymore. I have removed the links to that video. Kindly do not try to put them back or repost them as they are not Y7.

Posting your opinions is fine. Do not, however, make other people feel bad about their own, or repeatedly push your opinions around to the point of nauseum. That is not what General Discussion is for.
In regards to the "thinking before posting", I highly advise you look that rule over again and think about it. For at least half an hour, I'd suggest you think about it (or longer), because it's a suggestion you seem to be having trouble following. When we say "think before posting", don't just think over your post and make sure that the grammar and spelling is all well and good. We want you (and all members actually, if possible ^^) to consider the following before you post (Note: Some of these do not have a lot of bearing on most topics here at LF, however with the recent slew of controversial threads in GD lately, I feel it is important that they are taken into consideration):
1) Is it appropriate for the open-forum?
2) Is it on topic?
3) Does my post get my point across, while still maintaining a respectful consideration towards people with differing views and beliefs and lifestyles than mine?
4) Does my post contain any facts that could be considered "hurtful" and/or "controversial", and have I presented them in an un-hurtful way and with well-researched, <u>unbiased</u> evidence to support them?
5) Have I already posted something similar to this somewhere else and will I be repeating myself (and possibly spamming) by posting it again?
6) If someone disagrees with me on this post, will I be able to react calmly, and either let it go as "reaching an impass of opinions" or respond in a calm, understanding way to the disagreement? (This one is <b>important</b>. )
This is what we mean by thinking before you post. If you haven't run through this checklist before you make your posts (at the very least on the controversial threads, and you all know what they are), then do it before posting it on the open forum, or don't be surprised when you get into trouble. Furthermore, if you run through that checklist and your post strikes a discord with one of them, I would suggest revising it or not posting it at all. You don't always have to respond. Sometimes saying nothing at all means more than just saying anything.
And after you run your post through and make the changes, run it through again. ...And maybe once more for good measure.

I understand that passions and tempers can be raised when it comes to topics like this but everyone needs to be understanding of others and, above all, play nice, please?
