I would rename The Chamber of the Core of Lyoko to the "Scyphozoa Chamber" since The Chamber of the Core of Lyoko is now inhabited by a bunch of Scyphozoa's due to the fact that if Team Lyoko were to attempt to stop Xana's monsters from destroying the core, then the Scyphozoa's would then take possession of the Lyoko gang so that they could then destroy the core.

I would have explained more details in the last season. there are to many blanks to fill in now. at the end all they did was distroy XANA. the biggest reason why I watched the 4th season was so I could find out 1. what Franz hopper was going to do with the supercomputer, 2. Aelita's past aside from what we alredy knew, and 3. how XANA was created.

Taelia, I don't see how you can say your ideas are good when a lot of them aren't - sorry but I gotta be blunt here, especially your desired portrayals of the adults. School teachers are not lovey-dovey surrogate parents, they are meant to be authority figures! Also, if they were into the whole touchy-huggy affectionate stuff you keep writing, Kadic would very quickly be consumed in angry parents - that kind of behavior is not socially acceptable and a violation of the parent/teacher tryst.

Crossovers are tempting, but rarely are they ever done well. This is not to say that they can't, though.

I personally enjoyed a couple of the Jimmy/Timmy Power Hours (then again, maybe that was more because I liked seeing the characters animated in different styles). They had some good moments in them.

I've yet to see the "The Grim Adventures of the KND"...but that did look interesting to say the least.

Also, for anyone who's seen the small animated short of the Duel Masters/Megaman crossover...that's pretty sweet.

If Code Lyoko were to be crossed-over with something, I would recommend starting with animated shorts (ie. 15 minutes at most) to test the waters, before going with a full episode or a "power hour". The show to be "crossed-over" with would also have to be chosen carefully...since some shows just would <u>not</u> work. ^^;

Something in a similar strand of genre, like .Hack//Sign, or Reboot, or the like.

Have you even seen CSI? It's gory as all hell with more than it's fair of sex references. IT IS NOT A KIDS SHOW! Turning CL into that would be insanity.

What Tekirai means is that we should give some sort of edge to Code: Lyoko, making it similar to MST3K and the Simpsons with anime references and some REAL MUSIC, like the Simpsons has.

We can add that edge and put it within the show, possibly switching stations to FOX and giving them more budget. Not only that, Best Brains would have enough guts to restart MST3K by choice and put it on FOX, making them the powerhouse of comedy on Sundays and every other day. (you know "House" and "Bones"? Those are really comedy dramas with a lot of dramatic influence.) I agree if Moonscoop/Taffy doesn't want to continue the series by choice, but the fans may ruin the show.

That's why fans never made a commotion over Captain Beefheart's retiring from the music business to be a painter. They want him to express his ideas in art. Same goes with Zappa, who transformed from weirdo rocker that jams with another weirdo who makes weirdo album covers for his worst/best LP to date...to a keyboardist/conductor of foreign orchestras. That, my friend, was why "The Yellow Shark" sold a lot, but not as much as "Apostrophe (')"

Why am I in love with a kids' show and why am I on a forum that loves kids' shows, but not the dumb ones? I mean, this show is really childish (look at Jim talk about caribou crap on "I'd Rather Not Talk About It" and Yumi almost fainting from Odd's shoes while a horn played...and Aelita hearing a techno scratch when she mentioned that she likes electronica more than being an outsider with music by listening to critics' picks like Zappa, Van Vliet, or Malkmus) and plus, some of the speaking is cheesy and dumb, but the characters have enough personality and can be retooled by enough people to become a hit show. That's why CL isn't popular in the US, but is heavily popular in France. We don't use our imaginations much! When we do, we end up with anthropomorphic sponges, boys who have shape-shifting watches, kids who eat anything, twins that stay at a hotel, friends that run a YouTube series, and non-humorous things.

When will the people just turn off the TV and watch some CL on YouTube? Better yet, why don't they go into their NPR station and listen to Garrison Keillor make puns about some fictional Midwestern city? You wanna know why? That's because if a critic likes it, we tend to dislike it! That's why there are stroves of people that love Suicidal Tendencies' lower rated CDs (their final 2 LPs for Epic) than their indie label debut (which is awesome). That's why people don't like CL. CL is a classic among us and the corporation's trying to take it away. I say, "Let 'em crash."

If I was writing CL, I would bring Sissi into the Lyoko circle. I wouldn't have them ask her to be in the gang. I would make it some kind of an accident that gets her sent to Lyoko. Maybe she, in typical Sissi fashion, follows them to the factory to she what they are up to. She hides in a scanner to keep from been detected by the gang and gets sent to Lyoko. Now they have to deal with her. You can't just return to the past to make her forget.

I think this would open up all kinds of possible new story lines. First of all, she would be new at fighting Xana. While the others have grown into good fighters she would be a new to all of this and in many ways a liability.

There would also be the tension that is caused by her crush on Ulrich. Yumi and Sissi would have to fight side by side while both having feelings for Ulrich. There is the possibilty also that as Ulrich and Sissi fight along side of each other a real effection could grow. We have seen it in many different episodes where they have been thrown together on Earth while the others are fighting in Lyoko.

I have more thoughts on this but I'll let you mull over this first.
