That really doesn't have anything to do with it, and from my experience, the 13+ area of Teklinks was FAR more mature than ours here.

They're still members just like everyone else, and it's wrong to give people special privileges based on their origins.

Think the whole racism in the 40s-60s bit. Only bad can come from something like that.

Besides, a lot of people were members here before TL (myself included). I was in BKO before I ever joined TL.

Anyway, I don't think they deserve to get in sooner- if they're just now getting onto LF because of TL's disappearance, they honestly shouldn't be granted any special permissions.

They should have to go through the process just like everyone else. No one cares what website you came from, rules here are rules here.

Yep, sorry sentai. I'm going to go out ahead and say this. We cannot give TL members special advanced BKO privileges for two main reasons.

1) It is unfair to the other members who join and have joined here and had to work hard for the privilege to post in BKO. What's more, some of them were members of TL anyway, and there's no way to extend them a similar privilege, if we were to do that anyway.

2) There is no sure fire way to tell who's actually a TL refugee or not. Sure, some people have established members here that know them and could vouch for them, but TL had over 2000 members, and any Joe Shmo could just sign up here, say he used to go to TL and demand special privileges.

So, I'm sorry, but no special privileges, BKO or otherwise, are going to be extended to former TL members on that basis. Honestly, it is not hard to get the required 75 posts (and they need to be good ones, mind you) to get into BKO anyway. Leave comments on the episodes, or post opinions in GD, or CL Discussion, for example.

Just don't spam. You can be banned if we catch you spamming to up your post count.
