I saw "Inuyasha - The Castle In The Looking Glass" last night and I guess the relationship between Inuyasha and Kagome is probably best expressed by the last shot before the closing credits, as described here in haiku:

Golden locket has
Hearts and faces together,
Angry and scowling.

That was the first of the haikus I wrote about that movie, but the last in the order in which I (am going to) put them in my post in the "Songs & Poetry" thread...

Inuyasha was created by Rumiko Takahashi. If you check her manga history, youll find she has done a whole lot of exceptional work such as Ranma 1/2 and Maison Ikkoku. All of these stories have one thing in common. Despite their comedy and situations, theyre all love stories at heart.

They really should make a poster of that last shot before the closing credits: a golden lover's locket with pictures of faces bearing extremely unpleasant expressions! LOL !

BTW, who's the shape-shifting chibi with the tail (at least I think she has a tail), the one who always travels with Songa and the flying kitsune?

You mean sango and her demon cat Kirara? The only chibi with a tail that ever goes with them is Shippou, but I'm afraid Shippou is a he. Is this whom you are asking about?

Yep, that's her... sorry; him.

Couldn't believe Kagome and Songa would allow "him" to bathe with them, though, which is why I thought he was a she...

P.S.: I misspelled Sango's name again... I guess I'm too used to women's names ending in "a" and not in "o"...

Well, he is technically still just a little kid, so they don't see any harm in it. Besides, if they left him back at camp with Miroku and Inuyasha, Miroku would say something with hints of pervertedness in it, which Shippou would question and Inuyasha would hit him. Then Shippou would run to Kagome crying because Inuyasha hurt him and Kagome would use the 'S' (or technically the 'O' word), hence starting a fight with Inuyasha. So it's probably just easier to take Shippou with them ^_^

Yes, Shippou's just a child, so it's only natural that they'd allow him to bathe with them. Kagome is pretty much his second mother.

OMG! I love "Castle Beyond the Looking Glass!" *fangirl squeal*

Ok... so the first time I watched it I wasn't that "up" on InuYasha info so I didn't know who Kagura or Kanna were... I still think it's awesome, though. I watched it on Saturday and now I want to parody it... so getting it on DVD next time I go to Borders.

Shippou is just too sweet (sort of, anyway) to be perverted like that. He's like a little six-year-old.

I'd prefer having a poster of the part where they're all standing on the hill and Miroku's holding Sango's hand... because I'm a pathetic shipper like that, lol. Or that fire scene before Kaguya attacks them...

Uh, Vili, it's incredibly common for young children to be exposed to their mothers' bodies. It's obviously nothing sexual and try looking at it in a realistic sense: say that I was a mother, it would be absolutely ridiculous to leave my little 4-year-old unattended to go change in the other room.. :whatever:

I'm a big Inuyasha fan, and I think the film "Inuyasha - The Castle Beyond The Looking Glass" was the best.
Any thoughts conserning the film "Inuyasha - Swords of An Honerable Ruler"?

I haven't been able to get my hands on it... but I did see "Affections Touching Across Time". I thought the villains for that one were AWESOME. And it was soooo fluffy. It made me want to get some pancakes to put all that sap to use.

In a way, I just want the show to be over, because it's painfully obvious that the creativity ran out long before. It has ended in JApan, and soon it will end here as well. I just wish it had ended on a high note, and retained the feel of the earliest episodes.

It isn't exactly a rosary...they're prayer beads. Miroku uses the rosary to stop the black hole in his hand. I just got into InuYasha and I really like it. Shippo rocks!

I don't really think "Inuyasha" is that good. The show drags a lot and not much happens in five episodes. The plot of various episodes also seems very random.
