She's probably annoyed about the increasingly obvious evitability of her campaign.

Haven't heard much about McCain lately.

Anyways, I'm starting to wonder about VP choices. I'd love to see a McCain-Huckabee ticket. Obama-Clinton (or vice-versa) would reek of political games, though.

Agreed, also Tangent to answer your question. McCain doesn't need to do much now that he has secured his spot on the ballot. I personally would rather Hillary take the Primaries since I like Taelia don't agree with Obama's opinion of the changing world and nation. But when it comes down to the wire I have to go with my party so I'll be voting McCain in November.

Same here.

Obama has many different controversies that aren't befitting of a President, such as the anti-USA statements made by his former pastor and him being a part of a black separatism march in 1995.

Independent Party ftw.

Man, I've given up on this race. The most powerful country in the world, and these are the guys we can find to lead it. >.< I've gotten in some heated political debates with both family and friend, the former of which having absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

But I'll admit, Hillary needs to gtfo.

I'm independent party myself.
Since both Hilary and Barack support abortion, I don't want to go against my religous views by voting for either. Plus I'm also Anti-War and gun control, I dunno where that fits in. So I'm independent.

Off-topic:
But Ron Paul wanted to legalize Marijuana.

Point:
Hilary SUX.

Thank goodness there are a few more out there (yep, I'm one as well). And I'm glad McCain is sitting in the background doing nothing right now. It's what he should be doing since the dems are still fighting it out, and if he does nothing he can't be criticized. Since Clinton (ugh...) and Obama are snipin at each other, then some dems fed up with the fighting are going to vote for him.

Oh yeah, one time at the National Constitution Center, McCain showed up for a visit, and since my mom was in the media then and connected to the station that was hosting his speech I met him backstage. He was a really nice person to talk to.

To think I might've shaken hands with the next US president and I thought nothing of it then...

Yeah. McCain fought in the Vietnam Conflict, and his wife Cindy is a bombshell. If Hillary won, the very order of the executive branch would fall apart (although I'm a supporter of women's equal rights)

Awesome story.

I just think the emboldened portion is a funny turn of phrase, considering a story the Clintons made up...

Well, I certainly feel out of place. I support the Democratic Party. I don't know which candidate I truly support, I like Hillary's healthcare plan, but I find myself more often smelling what Barack is cookin. As a staunch Liberal Democrat, I really don't want to see McCain as President, and I'm glad to see Huckabee and Romney out of the race.

I supported Bill Richardson for President in the beginning, but he never gained much momentum. And even if I was able to vote, my vote wouldn't have counted, as the Democratic Party still refuses to seat Michigan's delegates after we moved our primary up. The Republicans were a bit smarter and simply deducted half of our delegates from their convention. I don't see why we had to move up our primary anyway.

Personally, I'd love to see an Obama-Clinton ticket for the Democrats, that would bring in the voters from both bases. However, that is very unlikely with all the arguing they've been doing as of late. I'm afraid that all this bikcering will split the Democratic Party.

Also, I don't even know why I'm posting here... I've always been kinda bad at political discussions.

Yep. Voted Huckabee in the Virginia primary, but not many of my compatriots were like-minded, it seems.

God help me if hillary wins. To be honest I've been a big Obama guy since the start, but if need be I think I could live with McCain. He's bassically a nice balance of liberal and republican or so I've heard.

Hillary opposes free speech and is pro-censorship, and Obama is just a fresh breath of bloody air. I only disagree with his view of an imeadate withdrawl of Iraq. I don't like the war. I don't want there to be a draft. However if we leave the country in an unstable state, it's going to be like pre-WWII germany and a hitler is going to step in.

Have you been a dear friend to this Atheist for 20 yeas and recieve spiritual advice from him?
My point is this; a pastor is a major player in spiritual life. Things you recieve from him influence pretty much everything you choose. That's what worries some of us Conservatives.

there's no way hillary can win. Personally, if obama wins the democratic nomonee, then he's going to win the president, because the republican guy(can't think) is going to keep us in iraq forever

???

McCain did say that we might be in Iraq for 100 years, but he meant that in the same way that we are still in Japan, Korea, etc.

McCain said that withdrawal would not be immediate but within his term. The "Iraq forever" thing is a serious misquotation. And if we withdraw troops immediately, then the terrorists, believing they won, will attack again. 9/11 was bad enough; we really don't need a sequel.

Me too. My parents have discussed moving out of the country if she wins. She seems to want socialism. This comes just after me reading Orwell's 1984.

If your referring to spiritual life, I could engage you in a long winded explanation of why we crazy Christians use the word "Life", or I can tell you this conversation is off topic.

Cinsidering past experience and assuming I learned something, what am I gonna choose?

Still, she certainly has the right to run until mathematically eliminated, like Huckabee ('course, most people flocked to McCain pretty fast).

It's nice to see the later states have some say for once.
