Im not sure if there has already been a topic on this but could someone explain the RTTP feature. There was a forum about it on teklinks but Im not sure if they cleared it up there. Someone said that it made a quibic memory each time they returned to the trip and they went into another world.

Jeremy said that each time RTTP is used, then a qubyte is added to the supercomputer nearly doubling its overall power. However, it has not been explained how RTTP works on a technical level including the fact that it can't bring a dead person back to life(which makes no sense because person is alive at Point A, he/she dies at Point B, RTTP is activated at Point C traveling back to Point A, then person should still be alive).

All you need to know about the RTTP is it rewinds time back nearly a day and that it expands to an unknown distance speculated to by just outside of Earth's atmosphere to encompassing the entire universe. Besides even if you were to ask this to Moonscoop, I don't think they broke it down to a technical or scientific level.
Fictional Conversation after the Episode "Routine:

Ulrich - "You couldn't wait, could you?"
Jeremy - "What are you talking about?"
*Ulrich grabs and lifts Jeremy by his collar.
Ulrich - "I was this close to tasting her porcelain lips. We weren't in any danger, but noooo! You had to return to the past anyway!"
*Jeremy sniffles as Aelita appears on screen and rolls her eyes
Aelita - Ulrich, put him down.

The old Let's Talk Tech thread concluded that it sent the minds of anybody the supercomputer had scanned back in time, which caused the timeline to split, leaving a shadow of the old one. Anyone who died in the old one would die in the new due to destructive interference.
(yeah, the cool links in my old sig died. :( A few nerdy newish projects are here. )

Okay, I can accept that. Did the thread talk about...if you split the timeline, where do the passive halves go? You are living in the active half, then the one that gets left behind is still there. Since you "split" it, then you can't say it ceases to exist. Eventually the abandoned temporal energies will gather creating a temporal rift that would threaten the fabric of existence because the RTTP is man-made and basically is poking the natural order of things every time is used.

Not trying to pick a fight, I am just expressing my opinion.

They get trapped inside the computer and that's what doubles its power? Maybe? I don't know, just a thought.
