Paul Bandey, the voice of Franz Hopper/Waldo Schaeffer, can be seen in the following documentary on Youtube
Crash of the Century
The video is a reconstruction of the Tenerife plane disaster, where two 747s collided. Paul appears as Pan-Am Co-Pilot Robert Bragg, who survived the disaster.
Bandey's first appearance in the first part of the video (linked above) is at 1:06 saying "Okay we'll report runway clear" and just before collision yelling "Get Off! Get Off, Get Off!"

Weird that even though he's an English actor, Mr Bandey's able to do a wide variety of American accents.
Oh, there's a bit in Part 5 of that video that cracks me up even though it's a human tragedy. While waiting for clearance to taxi, Bandey as Bragg starts talking about their next destination with his captain and flight-engineer. Turns out they'd be flying to Paris, and then they start talking about maybe going to some cabaret like the Moulin Rogue and suddenly the voice of Franz is leading the rest of the crew in a singalong version of the Can-Can!
