Jack Thompson is a quack who blames everything bad that's ever happened in the universe on kids / teens and our affection for video games. I guess what really caused him to be disbarred was that one time he mailed gay porn to a Miami district judge to prove that video games were bad. (don't worry, nobody else could ever figure that one out either) He also suggested the creation of a video game about killing video game producers and even the clerks that sell them at stores. He said he'd donate $10,000 dollars to charity if the game was made. Many independents made the game. The money was not donated. Then, the creators of Penny Arcade donated the money in his name, and he tried to sue them for defamation of character.

The man is... oh, what's the word? Oh, yeah. Crazy.

Anyways, good to know this guy is gone. Maybe he did have an understandable point when he started his little campaign, but it's been a running joke (and nuisance) for a while now. To celebrate, there will be many FATALITIES! and booze.
