Code: LYOKO Reloaded

Postby ccbtimewiz » Fri Jan 02, 2009 11:58 am

A couple days ago, Kabillion notified me with information pertaining to an "unknown" code lyoko source on Kabillion known as "Code: LYOKO Reloaded".

Unconfirmed so far, I'm ascertaining that it's a PSP and/or a PS2 game coming out in the future; because of the link to the secret video:

http://www.kabillion.com/codelyoko/pspps2/

Posters/images have also been released:

Meh. New art, I see. The vid's a bunch of Season 4 clips, and that could mean anything. The thrid poster's got a list of interesting little things though...

Actually did some more research on this. Specifically I did a WHOIS domain search for Moonscoop, and I found this:

Interesting.

Likewise it appears that my Kabillion colleague has announced that Kabillion plans on releasing a "big secret code lyoko project" in the near future. Unfortunately no further details were given.

Alexandre Parodi? I'd be wary of that. Could be a soul-destroying prank.

I dunno...
Sounds interesting. I also like the CL logo in gold. Looks perdy.
I really gotta fix up this theme

I wouldn't be sure about that... there was something in the same perdy gold lettering on the Kabillion website itself, after all. *.* (And I looked it up... rue de Alexandre Parodi is definitely a street in Paris. Parodi was the first ambassador to the UN from France. What a strange name.)

Anyway, YAY MORE PROJECT THINGS! And I don't think this is another Episode 78 situation, either- that stuff does look pretty cool. (Carthage Project? Jeremie's Blog? 8D.) I also like all the sparkly gold pictures- though Odd's looks kinda weird with his smile and all. (I didn't like the secret video, though. Its existence does authenticate the project, but the vid itself is hooey. >.>)

I wonder if the novels and this project are somehow related to each other, or if they go along on different paths. (The books, to me, seem to be going on an alternate storyline...TGP in the books and PC in the canon seem to be the same thing with different names.) But, I don't care as long as they exist.

*continues to wait for either one to be released*

Hmm... "u.o-w-o.info" doesn't resolve. Those email addresses seem to be fake. Of course, that's probably standard procedure for registering anything secretly.
(yeah, the cool links in my old sig died. :( A few nerdy newish projects are here. )

I can confirm that 14 Rue Alexandre Parodi is the address of Moonscoop HQ - the actual building is at the end of a side alley off the street, which apparently has a few good restaurants.

If this season were to shed more light on Franz Hopper and the origin of Carthage project, I might get back into Code Lyoko, or just for the short time where I'd be able to find out more about said information.

Unless they did explain what it all was, and I missed it.

Also, Reloaded makes it sound more like the Matrix. Seems too unoriginal, but the title really doesn't matter to me. It's just something I felt the need to point out.

Supposedly this "Code Lyoko Reloaded" is the new website that MoonScoop has been hinting about. No new info on the movies and/or a season 5 as far as I know.

At least MoonScoop is still showing interest in "reviving" CL. I can't say I agree with it, though; ever since CN canceled the show, activity has gone way down, because the fans that only watch it on TV and haven't really explored the Internet for it don't really know what's going on. :/

And if this is really a website, I don't see how CL can just be ended by a website when the story has been told for years through a TV show.

A golden Code Lyoko logo makes me think of one thing: Lyoko bling-bling on chains!

I like the name "Reloaded" but I'm still bitter about CN canceling CL and showing the remainder of S4 online.

It says pspps2 in the url so I'm guessing its going to be a PSP and a PS2 game probably taking place either during season 4 or after words since it says "Reloaded" and "The adventure continues". So I'm guessing the game will be release either in Fall 2009 or sometime in 2010, since there is no actual gameplay video, just clips from season 4. Unless there thinking of continuing the series in video games.. hopefully not.

I'm still wary about this, to be honest. First off, there's a spelling error on the third poster, and that, coupled with the fact that the character art on those looks like it could have been easily made by the people on Deviant Art and that the video offers nothing new (for some reason I can't see it, but someone said it was just some S4 video clips) will cause me to remain highly skeptical as to whether this is an authentic project until it's actually, truly unveiled.
