General original series discussion (Seasons 1-4)

Unless they have begun production already, and want to make it a huge surprise and randomly premiere it on France 3.

Stevie Vallance didn't do too well at keeping the secret if that is the case.

I just hope if they do, they will be dubbed into English and aired somewhere. At this point, I don't particularly want CN to air it. They treat CL horribly, even though it got ratings around what Pokemon and (i think) Total Drama Action have been getting back when they had S4 premieres on Saturday mornings. It's like if Nick suddenly stopped airing something like iCarly when there were still episodes left.

Also, the first few seconds of this video are of interest.. I wonder if they'd use that at the start of the new intro.

Yeah... Code Lyoko was one of their highest rated shows...

Since I have a small role in the way show's are rated... I would force myself to watch it at all airings to boost it's ratings.

And it would almost definately get translated into English. the US is the biggest consumer in the world... and if you look at the official website, there are more registered American fans (probably just because we're bigger)... but anyways, the point is, they'd make more profit from America.

Well I meant, in the series then. After 10 years.
Maybe they are indd making a movie?
Or they are making a whole new series, based on Cl.

As far as we know, they have nothing planned as of now...

We know nothing.

We hope to... but as for now there are no definite answers.

EDIT: If you're talking about Carthage's fanfiction on CL.com, that's only a fan-made story.

I saw another video of that. Is it Sharon Mann who voices Tara Duncan?? And Is that a William look-a-like? *_*

Sounds like it.

The books the show is based off of came before CL, so it's probably a coincidence.

Yeah... one thing we need to find out:

I know that the person in contact with Stephanie Vallance said that Ms. Vallance wasn't involved anymore... but the question remains...

what WAS she involved with in the first place? Was it really a new season?

Somebody should find that out.

She was apparently going to be voice directing.

but was it really for a fifth season?

I mean... i trust that this is Stephanie Vallance... but her usage of the words "next season" worries me... maybe she was going to direct for the cancelled movies or something...

We need clarification on this... and to also know whether it's still going on without her.

Well I doubt she lied.

Whether or not we got the facts right... I can put that up for debate:

"Dear MoonScoop/Taffy:

Can I first start out by saying I would like a reply to this. I don’t care if it’s a one sentence reply saying that you cannot or will not reply to me. I would just like to know that my message to you has been read, and that you are not just keeping it in a junk folder in your inbox.

I'd rather rewrite it myself to be honest.

I'm trying to sound as nice and polite and non-annoying-fan-that-they-won't-want-to-respond-to as possible.

I'll have my next draft up in a second.

Dear MoonScoop/Taffy:

Can I first start out by saying I would like a reply to this if possible please. I don’t care if it’s a one sentence reply saying that you can’t reply to me. I would just like to know that my message to you has been read, and that you are not just keeping it in a junk folder in your inbox.

Okay, let me proceed to say that I’m a very big Code Lyoko admirer. Your work with the CGI and Animation was very good, though my real love of the show spawns from the plot. Its intricate yet semi-possible plot (thanks to the wonders of modern science) and deep characters, mysterious back story and the overall way of playing out in each episode makes for a very compelling watch. But I’ll stop rambling now. I’ve been told rambling means you care, but you don’t want to read my ramble.

Anyways, moving on, the topic of this letter is Code Lyoko: Reloaded. You announced the start of the project… I’d say a year or two ago. I forget the exact date. Anyways, a lot of stuff mentioned in that included a “Code Lyoko Live Action Seriesâ€

Strengthening Vallance's claims...

Current projects include Hero: 108, Tara Duncan, Fantastic Four, Casper, Code Lyoko, Titeuf and Wild Grinders, among many others.

It could just be referring to CL: Reloaded. The powerpoint for it is on CL's page on that website.
_______________

I am in the process of E-mailing taffy moonscoop. I have two objectives as of the present moment, to be completed in this order:

1. To find out what in the world MoonScoop is doing. Are they doing nothing? Is there a Season 5 planned? Are the novels going to be translated? We've been beating around the bush for too long now. It is time for some straight up honest answers. No more scavenging for clues.

2. We need to remind MoonScoop that we are still here. We need to remind them that we still love Code Lyoko. We need to remind them that we will not slip quietly into the night! Whether they do anything else or not, we will stand by our love and support for Code Lyoko.

Something I hope for is more diversity in the weather. Not to nitpick, but it almost always being sunny at Kadic is just plain boring. Have it rain sometimes. Have it be overcast sometimes. Shouldn't be terribly hard. (Then again, I'm not an animator)
