BBBBBBBBBBBBBBiggggggggggggg newws according to C21Media moonscoop is working out with TyokkoPop for a sticker album ,along witha trading card game,And WE Finally Get to See How They Met Aeleata heres the details:
France's Antefilms Production is to produce a second season and one-off prequel of Code Lyoko following the success of the first series in the US on Cartoon Network's new action adventure programming block Miguzi.
The series is the second-highest rating show with kids 6-11 on the US net in a 17.30 weekday slot.
An Antefilms coproduction with France 3 and Canal J it has also proved popular with French audiences, being one of the top animated shows on France 3 since launch in September 2004. It is also set to air on Canal J in September this year.
The show follows the adventures of Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy, 'ordinary students as well as action heroes in the virtual digital world.'
The second series promises more comedy in the real world and more action and adventure in the virtual digital world of Lyoko. It will feature an additional territory, new monster characters and increased number of the show's futuristic vehicles.
Distributor Moonscoop is currently looking for licensing partners and is currently negotiating several deals including an agreement with Hachette for Code Lyoko books in 'Tokyopop' format and a worldwide trading and collecting cards deal.
In addition, Antefilms is producing a one-off special of the show. The 45-minute prequel will focus on the first meeting of series heroes, how they discover the Lyoko world and their virtual friend Aelita.
Nicolas Atlan, vp executive producer of Antefilms Production said: "Code Lyoko has proved a success with audiences in the US. The US web forum has received 100,000 visitors and emails from nearly 45,000 fans since its launch two months ago."

Those pictures were of Prototypes.

Trust me when the figures come out in stores you will hear about it.

Check Amazon every once and a while.

When the figures do come out Amazon may have some great pictures of the mass production versions. That's not secret inside info . . it's just a guess.

TB3 wrote:From what I hear the English DVD has some interesting features.

SECTOR MAPS: These are not actual maps of Lyoko but schematic diagrams of how the towers are laid out, detailing their number and the functions of some. Don't get excited about the last bit - it just means some have XANA symbols on them and each sector has a master 'access tower' connecting it to Carthage. For those who don't have the DVD there are ten towers per region, arranged in a three-square pattern rotated through 45 degrees with the master tower standing seperate at one tip.

After this debut I'd be interested as to what DVD2 will have. Perhaps Matt Geczy will sing a full version of Break-break-break-dance! ;)

The sector maps are strange...they only show a few towers, and not all of them are accessible to look at. Perhaps they're a form of easter egg, but it's rather strange that only a few of them have videos attached to them at the moment.

I would so buy DVD 2 in a heartbeat if it included a full version BBBD! :D Just think of all the chaos one could cause with it. ;) That would be a seriously cool extra! ^_^

It seems I'm doomed to double-post continually on this...ah well. XD

Courtesy of LyokoCode, I have information and strong reason to believe that some Code Lyoko merchandise such as action figures, dress-up sets, and all the other merchandise options we've been talking of previously should have a French debut sometime in October of this year.

I'm going to be keeping my eye on Amazon and Ebay.fr to look for when this merchandise may be available for sale. ^_^

Calling all Lyoko Freaks, calling all Lyoko Freaks! On The Internet Movie Database and Amazon.com Code Lyoko is getting some lousy reviews. The public feedback matters ALOT there. Help! I want there to be a third season!

Interesting... and we just had a war against the tv.com members (check BKO's Trash Talkin' Tv.com for that, and OBoy's Only Human Pt. 3 at Tv.com for references)... btw, if you ever read this Matt, you should tell your boss that this is the most important site for CL fans...

Matt, you really shouldn't worry about the IMDb and Amazon reviews.

More often than not, they're not even up to professional review standards. I'd ignore them.

That DVD has already hit stores in the US. Check your local FYE or other DVD retailer. They should have it. And you can also order it on Amazon.com. If anyone wants a direct link, I'll post one. :)

Man, what if McDonald's or any other fast food company starts releasing Cl toys in Happy Meals and kiddy meals?

Just think about it...

I got this idea after I saw KFC at Lima releasing Teen Titans toys... I know this sounds silly, but don't kill me for that idea.

XD They probably will do Happy Meal toys in France...eventually. The show's definitely popular enough. How much do you want to bet though that the Yumi toy would be the "shooter" toy, Ulrich would be the "action figure"-like toy, and Jeremie (with his computer), would be the "view-finder" kind of toy. :D Not sure what they'd do for an Odd toy...or an Aelita one. Odd could be the "archtype" water gun toy (all of them in Lyoko form by the way) but Aelita...hmmm. Ooo! And for the "plushie"...KIWI! Or Lyoko Odd, now that I think of it. ^^;

Anyway, in the way of merchandise news...courtesy of LyokoCode, Moonscoop has signed a deal with Funimation, Kidz Entertainment, and Game Factory to bring us (you wanted it)...A CODE LYOKO RPG VIDEO GAME!!!

*woots* It's slated for a 2006 release, and is currently only in production for the Nintendo DS, though other platforms may appropriate it as well as the project progresses. This is very exciting! Finally...an honest-to-goodness Code Lyoko video game! Sweet! *_*

Press a button behind Yumi's back and make her shoot her fan: Sure!!
Ulrich as action figure, it's definately sure... of course, if that ever happens. My thought was sort of hilarious, I must say. Odd as water gun toy from his Overboard, but the Overboard would have to be bigger (and the other toys as well)... for Aelita, I think it could also be action-figure type like Ulrich, but she could ride the Overwing.

And don't forget XANA henchbots, lol....

As for what the music video shows I'm in the dark. You can also have the option of the French song.........

TB3 did a good job of relaying the info. I have the DVD as well as the french DVD's.The Towers info and Sectors info is very similer to the French DVD's. There was only one tower available on the french DVD too. However all THREE DVD's have item's of worth that make buying them worth it.

The Video is the same one that is floating around on file servers. Essentially showing them waking up and getting dressed in the morning...eventually getting to Lyoko and fighhting sequences towards the end. Culminating in protecting Aelita. Theres the French or English Option.

Theres also Hero Profiles...Holomap (like French the DVD) and then a special area high lighting Season two and some of the new things there. Too bad they didn't include the closing credits (or CN for that matter!!!)

For more info on the DVD click HERE

BTW TB3 Copied the ENGLISH words from a POST I made on another forum....however there were some incorrect words....the following are the correct words (except the begining of the third line I'm not totally sure about)

=========================================
Code Lyoko - A World Without Danger

Verse 1:
There is a world, that is virtual and different
it can be so cold, makes us stand up for what's right
our hopes are alive, if we reset it to the start

Chorus 1:
Here we are going far
to save all that we love
if we give all we got
we will make it through
here we are like a star
shining bright on your world today
make evil go away

Chorus 2:
Code Lyoko we'll withstand it all
Code Lyoko be there when you call
Code Lyoko we will stand real tall
Code Lyoko stronger after all

Verse 2:
A world of machines, it can shadow human nature
and all that we need,is the way to find the answer
and one thing is sure, you can count on us for good

(Chorus 1)

(Chorus 2)

Refrain:
we'll do our best,
to never let you down.
Were up to the test,
to turn this world around.

(Chorus 1 twice)
