Go look around every episode thread. Some of them have summaries.

Mewberries does an awesome job at summaries. I wish I could do that good (well...I could if I remembered what happened and when).

:D Thanks for the compliment! :) Hmm...should I copy and paste all the episode summaries I've made so far here, for easy reference? Or are they okay where they are? I don't mind either way. ^_^

^^; The first of quite a few multiple posts. XD

New Order (*theme song plays*...^^; Sorry...)

The episode begins with Ulrich and Odd (as well as Yumi and Aelita), testing out the new Lyoko vehicles that Jeremie has created for them. Odd's is an OverBoard (like a hoverboard), and Ulrich's is an OverBike, which resembles a motorbike. Odd has challenged Ulrich to a race of sorts and the two tear it up across the Desert Region. After an exceedingly cool race scene (which we have a vid of if you want to see it), Odd wins, but tries to make a jump over a rock and wipes out. Yumi and Aelita arrive on an OverWing (a sort of scooter), and Ulrich gets a good laugh out of Odd's wipeout. Suddenly they are confronted with a new XANA monster, a four-legged spider-like monster (which Odd eventually names "Tarantula" ) and a battle begins. Jeremie advises Aelita to head for a tower and meet him while the others hold off the monster. Team Lyoko is devirtualized but Aelita makes it to the tower safely and Jeremie materializes her to Earth.

Back on Earth, the group discusses XANA's progress (the new monster and such), and Aelita says afterwards that she should probably head back to Lyoko. However, the group stops her. Jeremie surprises her saying that while he was searching for an anti-virus and creating the Lyoko vehicles, he also developed a new advanced scanning program to scan for activated towers. This one will let him know the moment XANA even activates a tower. That means Aelita can stay here on Earth more. And, double surprise! They've already enrolled her at Kadic as a boarding student (this time as Odd's cousin Aelita Stones, from Canada, lol). That same day, Jim shows Aelita to her new boarding room (it's pink! ), and advises her to follow the rules at Kadic: "Misters Belpois, Stern and Della Robbia can tell you all about them...that is if they can remember them at all!" (I loved the looks the three boys shot Aelita after that one. ).

Later in the day, the 8th and 9th grade (they cleared everything up in this episode school-wise) are pairing off for their BioDiversity projects. Jeremie and Aelita have been paired together, while Odd will be working with Ulrich. Ulrich, speak of which, is under the arcades waiting for Yumi. Apparently he has something important to tell her, and he's working out the way he can start saying it ( ^_^ ). As he's rehearsing, Yumi, of course, appears behind him. She introduces him to her project partner, William. Needless to say, the two boys do not become fast friends. Yumi leaves with William to work on the project, but not before asking Ulrich what he was going to tell her. Ulrich quickly tells her not to mind it. Ulrich asks Odd who William is, and Odd gives the following explanation: "That's William. He's the new guy. He got kicked out of his last school. He's cool!" ^^;

Meanwhile, Jeremie and Aelita have started their search for forest specimens to study. Aelita asks about their being monsters in the forest, while Jeremie explains that that's only in fairy tales and horror movies. A short conversation about Jeremie's dislike of horror movies follows until Jeremie realizes he forgot his laptop. He tells Aelita he'll be right back, and that he'll catch up with her in a moment. Aelita continues on to search for some good forest wildlife.

Scene change to how Ulrich and Odd are faring...the former in turn spying to see how Yumi and William are faring. Odd tells Ulrich not to worry about Yumi and William. Aren't they already together anyway? Ulrich stutters out an "It's not that simple" explanation and goes back to spying. Yumi and William are talking together. William's telling her a little more about himself, along with why he got kicked out of school (something about love letters, and a later conversation about love itself occurs, William's views of which are a tad worrisome. "All or nothing." ).

Meanwhile Aelita has been having flashes of strange memories coming to her. One includes a wolf with amber glowing eyes. So real do these visions seem that Aelita becomes frightened that a wolf is actually after her and takes shelter in an old abandoned mansion near Kadic.

During this time, Jeremie has recovered his laptop but discovers that his computer has detected an activated XANA tower. He notifies his friends, while heading for the factory, and tells them to meet Aelita in the forest and head for the Factory together. Aelita in the meantime, has been exploring the mansion, unaware that XANA has control of the house and has been watching her every move. Aelita stops in one of the rooms and has a flash of a memory of a man in a scientist's outfit playing the piano. As she comes out of this vision, XANA takes his opportunity to attack her, swirling towards her.

Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi can't find Aelita anywhere so Odd sends Kiwi to pick up her scent and find her. Kiwi leads them to the mansion, and the three head inside, unaware that XANA is now watching them as well. XANA holds control over the house and he locks the door behind them and launches cutlery and some assorted heavy objects at the group, seeming to be trying to lead them through the house. They luckily find Aelita unconscious on the ground, and she wakes just in time to tell them that this house is one huge trap. The door to the room they're in goes to shut but Odd manages to hold it open in time for Aelita to escape with him. However Yumi and Ulrich are still trapped inside, and XANA proceeds to mess with the mansion's heating system, quickly turning the room into the near equivalent of an oven.

Aelita, with the help of another vision, directs Odd to a new passageway in within the mansion's grounds that will take them to the sewers and so on to the factory. They arrive at the factory and Jeremie virtualizes them. Two tarantulas are guarding the tower. With a helpful distraction from Aelita and the new Lyoko vehicles, Odd takes out one of the monsters and tells Aelita to run for the tower. During this whole time, Ulrich and Yumi have been trying to keep cool, both of them resorting to removing their shirts, and agreeing to sit back to back so as to avoid actually looking at each other. Ulrich questions Yumi about William, and she apologizes saying she should have introduced the two of them sooner. Ulrich asks exactly what Yumi's feelings are towards William. Yumi responds that he's just a friend, before the two of them completely lose consciousness due to the oppressive heat.

Aelita makes it to the tower and deactivates it, initializing the RTTP. ("Return to the past, now!" How I missed that... ). Now at a time earlier that day, the groups hand in their BioDiversity projects. Jeremie explains to Odd, Ulrich and Aelita that he took another look at that mansion they found and couldn't find anymore traces of XANA. It's just a regular old house now. Jeremie then gathers the group together to surprise Aelita with one more gift. Her own mobile (and it's also pink!!! ), so that they can keep in touch more easily. The episode ends with Aelita hugging Jeremie for the gift and the group laughing together.

Unchartered Territory

The episode begins with a spritely figure being pursued by a large pack of wolves, among them the black wolf with the cold eyes that Aelita saw in a previous episode. While the sprite tries to lose the wolves by hiding in a hollow tree, his luck sadly isn't with him as the lead wolf finds him attacking with gleaming white teeth. Aelita wakes up startled in her dorm at Kadic. She's awoken from a dream: the sequence we just saw with the sprite and the wolves. Needless to say, she's rather upset over it. Meanwhile, Ulrich and Odd are in Jeremie's dorm discussing some new found info; in a nutshell, the mysterious house that Aelita found was the retreat of an old Kadic science professor, Franz Hopper. The scene switches back to Aelita who's waiting in line to use the shower. Sissi arrives (having already taken her shower ) and tells her there's another shower on the next floor that doesn't have a line of girls waiting for it. Aelita heads for that one, unaware that Sissi's playing a mean trick on her. The empty shower room is the boy's shower room. Luckily, Ulrich and Odd are there and manage to save her from further embarrassment. Jim arrives and while Aelita's clearly innocent in this situation, Jim warns her not to do anything out of line all the same, or else. This also gives Sissi and her gang the chance to laugh at Aelita's misfortune.

Meanwhile, Jeremie's rearing to find out more info on Franz Hopper. He, Ulrich and Odd head for the school's archives to look for info on him. Aelita offers to go as well, wanting to help out, but Jeremie tells her to stay behind because the archives are off-limits to students and she might get suspended if she gets caught (since she's already in trouble for the "shower incident"). The trip to the archives authenticates that Franz Hopper was a professor at Kadic and Jeremie then decides to revisit the mansion from the first episode to see what the three of them can find there. He finds little of interest and nothing relating to Lyoko. He does, however, find a book on the history of the Punic Wars (I loved the "Tunic Wars" line )and decides to take it with him since it's so out of place in a house belonging to a scientist and it has clearly been read and marked in. During this time, Aelita is in the cafeteria trying to get something to eat, but she's unsure of what to pick (she's hardly ever eaten in a cafeteria before). With the rest of the students behind her growing impatient, she leaves sadly without eating, a situation made even worse by an encore of Sissi and her teasing. Utterly frustrated and unable to find anyone kind to talk to (the boys still haven't come back and Yumi's in the cafeteria eating and chatting with William, a scene Aelita doesn't feel the need to intrude on), Aelita heads instead for the Factory and virtualizes herself back to Lyoko to be alone, telling Sissi she's going back to where she came from.

Not much later, Jeremie, Ulrich and Odd realize Aelita is missing when she doesn't return for class with Mrs. Hertz after lunch. Sissi tells them that Aelita said she was going back to Canada where she felt she belongs. Immediately Jeremie, Ulrich, and Odd excuse themselves ("Infirmary") and head for the factory, since Jeremie guesses at what really happened. They find Aelita in Lyoko, but a squadrom of Bloks are now pursuing her. Jeremie virtualizes Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi (who arrives from school), but they are stopped from helping Aelita right away by a couple of Krabes. Aelita meanwhile is trapped by the two Bloks but is saved when a mysterious sphere with a XANA eye in the center transports her away, still very much frightened. While his friends deal with the Krabes (Y/U combo attack, woot! ), Jeremie notices Aelita's disappearance from Lyoko but then relaxes when he finds a weak signal from Aelita. However, it's coming from a region that's not in Lyoko; a 5th region. Attached with the signal is the message "Welcome to Carthage" and the demand for a password. Jeremie recalls the history book he found in the mansion and attempts to find the password. He also gives Team Lyoko their vehicles when they are attacked again, this time by Hornets.

Still searching for the password, Jeremie recalls that in the book about the Punic Wars, in order to invade Carthage, one had to destory and cross the city's walls. Jeremie remembers that it was Scipion who destoryed the walls and types in the password "Scipio" ("Scipion" in Latin). The password is accepted and the XANA sphere/bubble returns and transports Team Lyoko to the 5th territory where Aelita had awoken earlier. Unfortunately, Aelita has also encountered a new bunch of XANA monsters: Creepers (slug-like, crawlie type monsters) and another monster that holds a strong resemblance to a jellyfish and that can absorb computer memory, a power it begins to use against Aelita. Luckily, Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi arrive at the 5th region and, with the countdown started, rescue Aelita from it and manage to destroy the other monsters as well. The countdown ends and the maze that is the 5th region begins to change and close around them. Fortunately, they all make it out okay (Odd, by a tail) and Jeremie types in the "Scipio" password. The XANA Sphere arrives and transports them all back to the Forest Region, and close to a deactivated tower as a bonus. Aelita heads for the tower to re-materialize herself, while Jeremie devirtualizes Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi (they don't need to use a tower to do so).

Back in the dorms at Kadic, the group discusses the recent journey into Lyoko and the 5th region. Jeremie voices that XANA's after Aelita's memory as that's what that one monster was after. Yumi and Ulrich offer to go back and explore the 5th region more, but Jeremie refuses, saying that it's entirely uncharted and unstudied territory and therefore exceedingly dangerous for the time being. Aelita then apologizes for virtualizing herself back to Lyoko and causing all the trouble. She asks Jeremie if he's angry at her for it which he promptly responds "No" to and then promises to spend more time with her, feeling sorry for ignoring her the entire day with his "Franz Hopper" research. Odd offers to teach her how to tell Sissi off, but "speak of the devil" she walks into the room. The resulting conversation follows (more or less):

Sissi: My, what a pretty little picture. (to Aelita) Back from Canada so soon?

Ulrich: Yeah, while you were taking your third shower for the day.

Sissi: Oh, but you know Ulrich, that a rare and beautiful flower like myself needs lots of water to grow.

Aelita: (before Odd can say a word)...True...and maybe one day you'll sprout a brain.

The episode ends with a surprised bout of laughter from the group and with Sissi fuming.

End.

Exploration

The episode begins with Aelita running for a deactivated tower. Yumi is apparently with her in Lyoko and holding off monsters with 30 lifepoints left so that Aelita can be materialized. While this is happening, Ulrich says to Jeremie that he'd really like to have all this XANA business over and done with. Odd agrees but adds that unfortunately they can't just shut him down because of the virus in Aelita and that they won't be able to until Jeremie finds the anti-virus for it. Aelita, now materialized, proposes they go to the 5th region...perhaps information on XANA and the anti-virus could be found there. Jeremie is reluctant but the others convince him into it, and the group decides to explore the region the next evening. Yumi then hurries off, exclaiming that she's way past her curfew and that she's got to get home before her parents realize she's missing. Ulrich, Odd, Jeremie, and Aelita wave her off and then leave for Kadic.

Back at home, Yumi attempts to sneak in to avoid being caught by her parents. However, Mission Impossible this is not, and sh'e unfortunately caught and then questioned by her parents. They're concerned about all the times she's come home late, along with her general behavior. Yumi argues with them that she's fine. Her grades are good and she hasn't gotten into any trouble lately. Her parents however, still think there's something she's hiding from them and they decide to keep a closer eye on her, going so far as to accompany her to school, which Sissi quickly takes as an opportunity to tease her. When Jeremie learns of this, he advises Yumi to go home on time tomorrow and skip the 5th region exploration trip that night. Yumi is reluctant but agrees eventually.

Later that night, Odd, Ulrich, Aelita and Jeremie head for the Factory for the 5th region exploration. Jeremie virtualizes the other three into the Forest region where they head for it's borders to take the XANA sphere transport. Upon arriving in the 5th region (after Odd makes a funny joke about being a little motion sick), Jeremie tells them that they have 3 minutes to get through the labyrinth that is the 5th region before it'll change it's form on them. The three head into the maze intent on finding their way out of it, but end up going around in circles. Aelita is shot by a Creeper (the slug-like monsters) after heading down one passage and loses 40 lifepoints in a single hit! Odd deals with the monster and Jeremie tells them to leave marks so that they don't take the same passage twice, which works. However, they still haven't found their way out, just into a new chamber. Jeremie tells them to go back and find a push-button he's located on one of the walls. This should prevent the labyrinth from changing around them and give them more time. The group finds the button, but it's a little high up. And while heights are no problem for Odd's cat-like climbing abilities...a monster shot is. Odd takes a direct hit from a Creeper and devirtualizes before he can hit the button. Ulrich is also devirtualized by the same XANA monster, but Aelita is saved by the counter running down and the labyrinth changing around her, which drives off the Creeper.

But a new problem has presented itself. Ulrich and Odd haven't devirtualized back to Earth!! And without the code to connect the 5th region to the scanners, they might be lost forever. Immediately Jeremie calls Yumi (who'd been spending the night with her parents, and playing "Go" against her dad). Yumi, of course, sneaks out, telling her parents she's gone to bed. However her mom checks in on her in her room and discovers she's not there, prompting Yumi's parents to head for the school to figure out where she might have gone, which alerts Jim and the Principal that Ulrich, Odd, Jeremie, and Aelita are also missing.

Yumi arrives at the Factory. Things have gone from bad to worse in Lyoko as the Scithizoa (the jellyfish-like, memory stealing monster) is now trying to get to Aelita. Jeremie virtualizes Yumi into the Mountain region and she heads for the boundaries just as Ulrich and Odd had done in the Forest region. She's held up by a couple of Roachsters but escapes into the XANA sphere in the nick of time. Meanwhile, back at the school, the Principal, Jim, and Yumi's parents are wondering where the four students have gotten to. Sissi arrives saying she has a sure-fire way to find them. She digs Kiwi out of Odd's drawer and tells him to go find his owner. Kiwi complies, taking the little group on a tour of the school grounds and into the sewers (where we learn that apparently Jim was a sewer worker ).

Back in the 5th region, Yumi's been trying to find another push-button to keep the labyrinth from changing on her. She encounters a room full of lasers that she barely manages to get through in order to push the button at the end of the room. She succeeds and a wall closes between Aelita and the Scithizoa, preventing it from stealing her memories. Yumi, then utilises a cool XANA elevator within the 5th region to pick-up Aelita and transport them out of the maze where they find an interface screen that gives them unrestricted access to XANA's files (but also incapacitates Jeremie's computer input), and they learn that the 5th region is XANA's core...or "home" if you will. Aelita access the interface in an attempt to hunt down the code that will materialize Odd and Ulrich back to Earth. In the mean time, a new group of monsters (manta ray-like in form), have appeared and are on the attack. Aelita finds the devirtualization code and gives both it and control of the computer back to Jeremie. Jeremie calls up Yumi's vehicle and the two of them head for a tunnel that should transport them back out of the region. Before they can go through it though, Yumi is taken down by a shot from one of the Manta Rays, and she too is lost. Aelita makes it out though and heads for a deactivated tower in the Forest Region to be materialized.

Back at the Factory, Jeremie enters the new De-virtualization code for the 5th region and heads to the scanner room with Aelita. Thankfully, the code works and Odd, Ulrich, and Yumi are back safe and sound on Earth...albeit a little winded ("Odd, say something." "...Something"). The group takes the elevator preparing to leave but find Jim, the Principal, and Yumi's parents and Sissi, waiting for them at the top, having followed Kiwi all the way to the Factory. Aelita makes a run for it, while Odd, Ulrich and Yumi run a distraction for Jeremie, who re-activates the elevator. Jim manages to get in though and follows Jeremie back into the lab. After a clever quip from Jeremie ("Doesn't this look familiar to you, Jim?" ), the RTTP is intitalized (proving it can be activated without a tower deactivation).

The scene resets to Yumi with her parents walking her to school (from earlier on that day). Yumi finally agrees to tell them the "truth": She's in love ( ^.^ ). Her parents are very satisfied with this answer, inquiring as to who the boy is, but Yumi says she'd prefer not to tell them and heads for the school gates. After throwing Sissi a raspberry (lol), she meets up with Ulrich and Odd. Ulrich asks her what she told them. And Yumi tells him simply, with a smile, "the truth".

End

Nice job, Mew!! I might recomend you to link the threads to every episode... and SamBlob's suggestion isn't a bad idea.

I'd link them...but some of them are further along in the pages. Plus this makes it easier for StarWay to find them, should she like to use them. ^_^

Anywho:

Missing Link, (a slight episode order jump, ^^; )

The episode begins with Jeremie, Odd, Ulrich, and Aelita waiting for Yumi at the factory. Apparently they're going to do some more 5th region exploring and having the party at full strength would be a definite plus. However, Yumi's running late. A few montage scenes of Yumi heading for the Factory are interspersed with Jeremie deciding that Yumi must not be able to come, and him virtualizing Odd, Ulrich, and Aelita. Yumi arrives almost directly afterward entirely out of breath and about to give an explanation but Jeremie tells her to just hurry to the scanners, after which he virtualizes her as well. Odd comments lightly that it was nice of Yumi to join them, ("We were almost going to start the party without you"), but Ulrich's a tad...suspicious. He questions Yumi as to whether she was late because she was talking with William again, which irritates Yumi in return. Just as they begin to bicker, a group of Roachsters appear which quickly engage them in battle. Aelita is advised to head for safety while Ulrich, Odd, and Yumi take on the Roachsters. While they're defeating them, the scithizoa appears , which Jeremie is quick to notice. However, this time it's not after Aelita...it attacks Yumi!

Ulrich quickly attacks the Scithizoa which drops Yumi and backs off. The Roachsters go with it, and all becomes peaceful again. Ulrich having hurried to Yumi's side asks her if she's okay. She seems unsure, claiming she feels sort of funny. Jeremie decides that it's too risky to take the trip to the 5th region right now, and goes to materialize Aelita from the deactivated tower nearby along with Yumi and Odd first. Odd and Aelita materialize no problem but Yumi's scanner is empty. She's still on Lyoko. This greatly worries Jeremie, although Odd reassures him that he probably just entered the coordinates wrong. Jeremie tries again, this time devirtualizing Ulrich as well, but again Yumi stays trapped on Lyoko. By now Jeremie's very upset and Ulrich is quickly getting there too. Jeremie advises Yumi to head for a deactivated tower to stay safe until he can figure out what's wrong.

Back in the real world, Jeremie is desperately trying to figure out what's wrong, Ulrich, Odd and Aelita gathered around him. Jeremie decides to scan Yumi to see if that can pick up on anything, and suddenly discovers the problem. When the Scithizoa attacked her, it didn't steal her memories but her genetic coding. This coding is what allows her to transfer from real world form, to Lyoko form and back again (so far as I could figure). Without it, she can't be devirtualized! Yumi's really upset by this. Not only is the prospect of remaining virtual forever entirely daunting but today of all day's is the one day she really can't afford to be absent. School pictures for the ninth grade (Yumi's grade) are being taken today, and anyone who doesn't attend gets suspended (quoth Odd, "Way to go, Delmas" ). Odd gets it into his head that he can take Yumi's place in the photo by dressing up like her ( ), but both Jeremie and Yumi seem to think that's a silly idea. Ulrich however finds potential in it...just not with Odd as Yumi.

Ulrich pays Sissi a visit directly afterward. He attempts to bargain with her, asking her if she'll pose as Yumi in the school photo today. In return he'll do anything she wants ("well...not anything..." ). Sissi, however, tells him that sure she'll do it...and that she doesn't want anything in return?! Telling Ulrich to think of it as a personal favor, she saunters off to get ready for the photo. During this time, Jeremie and Aelita have been working in the Factory on trying to find a way to get Yumi's coding back. Yumi's very upset, which is understandable, that they've yet to find anything helpful quite yet. Aelita suddenly seems to have an idea but she's reluctant to tell Jeremie precisely what it is. She asks him just to virtualize her and that she'll take care of it from there. Rather confused, and mildly suspicious Jeremie does so and Aelita hurries off to meet with Yumi.

Back at Kadic, Ulrich complains to Odd about how long Sissi's taken to put on a dress and a wig. Sissi soon walks out though, wearing a short black wig styled to match Yumi's hairstyle along with a light blue mini-dress and boots. Sissi asks Ulrich what he thinks of it, and Ulrich responds that it's something Yumi just wouldn't wear ( it's too colorful among other things... ^^; ). Ulrich and Odd tell Sissi to wait while they get her some of Yumi's actual dresses. Upon arriving at Yumi's house, Ulrich tells Odd to stand guard and keep him posted if anyone's coming while he sneaks in through an opened back door. Very quietly avoiding Yumi's parents (who are having a rather amusing conversation in the next room over), Ulrich sneaks into Yumi's room to find a dress in her closet that Sissi can wear and that isn't too "Non-Yumi" in style.

Back at the Factory and in Lyoko, Jeremie's still trying to get Aelita to tell him her idea. Aelita refuses though, and finally meets up with Yumi in the deactivated tower. There she tells Yumi that she can get her out by giving her her own genetic coding. This means though, that now Aelita will be all virtual again. Jeremie advises her not to do it repeatedlty, but Aelita blocks out contact with him and initiates the process of giving her genetic code to Yumi. Jeremie meanwhile, is sifting through the information regarding this process...and comes across a pretty huge snag. If Aelita gives up her genetic coding, XANA will be able to tap into her memories uninhibited. Unable to contact Aelita directly, he calls up Ulrich and Odd.

Ulrich unfortunately though is still in Yumi's room. His cell phone ringing gains the notice of Yumi's mom who enters Yumi's room looking for the source. Ulrich manages to hide behind Yumi's dresser, leaving his cell phone out to fool Yumi's parents into thinking she'd left for school and simply forgotten her mobile. Ulrich then climbs down the drain pipe, rather irritated to find Odd playing a video game when he should be watching. ^^; Ulrich calls Jeremie back with an apology and begins an explanation but Jeremie cuts him off, explaining what Aelita's doing, what the consequences will be and that he can't contact her so they're going to have to go into Lyoko to tell her. He advises they hurry. Ulrich agrees but insists that they have to stop by Kadic first and give Sissi Yumi's dress to wear for the photo. Then they'll be right over.

Ulrich and Odd get the dress to Sissi, who after putting it on heads for the photo shoot. The two boys then hurry to the Factory racing against time since Aelita's transfer of her genetic code is nearing completion. Upon arrival, Jeremie virtualizes Ulrich and Odd close to the tower telling them to hurry and get the message to Aelita. Meanwhile, back at Kadic, Sissi's shows up as Yumi and takes her place for the photo. William, who's standing behind her, greets her and tells her he was looking for her this morning in the courtyard. However, he quickly realizes it's not Yumi he's speaking too. He recognises Sissi and pretty soon most of the ninth graders have taken notice too, particularly the boy sitting next to Sissi, and who's quickly getting on her last nerve with his prodding.

Back on Lyoko, Aelita's transfer process is nearly complete, but Ulrich and Odd arrive in time to warn her. Aelita aborts the process, feeling rather sorry about the whole thing (Odd comforts her with the line, "You're already becoming human. You're confusing generosity with stupidity." ^^; ). The next step now though is to find an alternate way to get Yumi's code back. Aelita comes up with another solution. XANA's taken Yumi's code...and where does one find XANA's files? The 5th region! The group quickly heads for the Forest region's boundaries where Jeremie enters the Scipio code to activate the XANA sphere that will take them to the 5th region.

Back at the school, Sissi's cover is now almost completely blown. She eventually loses her cool on the boy sitting next to her (who kept teasing her), and gains the attention of her father, the principal who's overseeing the photo shoot. The prinicipal of course recognizes his daughter so the jig is up, and the ninth grade photo is taken with the prinicipal trying to get answers out of Sissi (that's one for the yearbook... ).

Ulrich, Odd, Yumi, and Aelita arrive at the 5th region with Odd still having motion-sickness issues. Jeremie warns them that without a genetic code, Yumi's as vulnerable to deletion as Aelita is, so they've got to be extra careful. Without a second more of waiting, the group hurries into the 5th region, intent on finding the push-button that'll keep the maze from changing. Jeremie's located one on an out-cropping nearby which the group heads for. The push-button hangs at the end of an open corridor. Odd quickly opts to go for it, but as he walks out, Ulrich takes notice of the ceiling changing and quickly pushes him out of the way as a huge pillar comes down behind them. barely missing them and separating them from Yumi and Aelita. Jeremie warns them of the ceiling collapsing and Ulrich and Odd barely have any time to take a breather than the rest of the ceiling begins to fall down on them. Several pillars of ceiling almost crush the two boys, but Ulrich is saved by Odd pushing him out of the way of one of the last pillars and taking the hit in a spectacular instant KO squash down. Ulrich avoids the rest of the pillars and hits the push-button at the end of the corridor which also pulls the pillars back up into the ceiling, allowing him to regroup with Yumi and Aelita. Back in the real world, Odd tumbles out of his scanner. Getting pancaked in the 5th region is apparently not very good for you.

Back in Lyoko, Yumi, Aelita, and Ulrich catch the XANA elevator up to the 5th region's interface panel. Aelita quickly goes to work searching for Yumi's code (sacrificing Jeremie's control of the computer for the time being), while Yumi and Ulrich keep an eye out for the Manta Ray monsters that exist in the 5th regions walls. Ulrich during this time, also apologizes to Yumi, saying it wasn't any of his business bothering her about what made her late this morning. Yumi accepts his apology stating she'll tell him what she was doing anyway. She was buying tickets for the both of them for a SubSonics concert that night, which was only made more difficult by a bad Internet connection. Ulrich's really surprised by this, but the rather happy moment is spoiled by the arrival of the Manta Rays.

While Ulrich and Yumi fend off the enemy lasers (Ulrich also working to keep Yumi from being hit), Aelita continues her search through XANA's files for Yumi's code (she's unsure of what it looks like exactly but feels she'll know it when she sees it). She finally finds it and quickly sends it to Jeremie, who quickly sets to work imputting it back to Yumi. Yumi's over-joyed at this news, happy that she'll be able to go back. But because she's taken her attention off the attacking monsters, a Manta ray manages to sneak up behind her and score a direct hit on her with its laser. Yumi devirtualizes, much to Ulrich's horror, and nobody's quite sure whether or not her genetic coding was restored in time. Ulrich and Aelita escape the 5th region on Ulrich's overbike (Jeremie having long ago regained control of the computer) and Jeremie materializes them both promptly afterward.

Down in the scanner room, Aelita and Ulrich emerge out of their scanners, and Ulrich finds Yumi collapsed in front of her scanner. As Aelita says, she's out cold but at least she's back on earth again. Yumi comes to, her eyes focusing on Ulrich's face and the two share a moment (Ulrich's also holding her around her shoulders...it's very sweet. ^_^ ). Also this whole time Odd's been up in the super computer room with Jeremie, entirely unable to move for the most part because of the crushing he took in the 5th region ("Ever been hit by a steam roller, Jeremie? Well, get squashed in the 5th region and you'll know what it feels like." ). Poor Odd. ^^;

The group heads back to Kadic to discover the fiasco that was the ninth grade photoshoot. Sissi explains she's managed to keep Yumi out of trouble, but that her father's none-to-pleased with her in the meantime. As she walks off, Yumi (after a glance from Ulrich) stops her, offering her the tickets to the SubSonics concert with Ulrich as thanks. Sissi seems grateful and walks off rather happily passing Jeremie, Aelita, and Odd along the way. They comment on Sissi's odd behavior, not entirely sure what to make of her sudden change in character and her generosity in things regarding Yumi. But that's a mystery for another day.

Dang, I just found out I won't be able to catch any of the episodes during the week starting with Vertigo. And those are going to be the new ones too, according to the schedule... :cussout:

So...Mewberries, would you be so kind as to post summaries of the episodes especially for that week? My gratitude would be boundless...

I will do my very best. ^_^ I believe I still owe summaries for three other season 2 episodes as well, "Marabounta" being one of them, so I shall try to get them out soon. :)

My apologies for the double post but I've just realized that TV.com has episode summaries for just about every season 2 episode! :D

I'll post the link to the season 2 page below. In order to see the full summary for an episode just hit the "Recap" link. I don't know who wrote these but they're quite in depth and very impressive. So anyone who has missed any episodes in particular this is the place to go.

And my apologies to all of you who were waiting for them from me. I've been rather irresponsible and scatterbrained about the whole thing. I hope these will be okay instead. ^^;

Season Two and XANA is getting deadly!

Postby keiman » Wed Oct 26, 2005 3:30 pm

:D Anyone else notice that in Season two and since the kids discovered Carthage/Sector 5 that XANA has become more lethal in his attempts on Earth?

In the Cold ? ep last night he could easily have killed the whole school and then some with that blizzard!

There must be something on Carthage that he definitely does NOT want them to find. Wonder if it is his 'Achilles Heel' that can finally get rid of XANA once and for all? Any thoughts--K&K
Thanks and see ya soon-K&K

XANA gets more powerful with every RTTP, so taking into account every RTTP in season 1, the RTTPs in season 2, and the RTTPs that must have happened before and in-between those seasons, he must have quite an impressive force behind him. "Cold War" is the perfect testament to that. Not only was he able to change the weather (knocking out the communications as well, so that their phones wouldn't work), but he also was able to hatch the Mantas into the Polar Region. It's quite frightening.

Did he actually hatch them in the polar region, or did he just set it up so that they can leave Sector Five and enter the surface sectors?

You're right. XANA probably unlocked it so they could leave, as you said. We never did see them hatch as they do in the 5th region, and Jeremie mistook them for Hornets at first, so they probably did hatch in Sector 5 and then came up through in the the Polar region (possibly the same way Team Lyoko can).
