Retelling Radioplay Episode 1

For the wonderful fan artists of Code Lyoko.

Just a quick update for future refference...

First of all, there will be an episode two. The script is fully "written" in my head and I have a general idea on how this thing will play out.

In terms of actual content, episode two will be a lot more story driven and will focus more on the actual series of Code Lyoko and the wacky subculture it has created. Essentially the focus of episode one was to write moments so ridiculous so that the cast would not hold themselves back. Now that they're used to this sort of treatment we can tone things down a notch. However, it will take a consideral amount of time before episode two will be released as I have a number of projects that I need to get done first. Here's the list so far.

1. An update of the Retelling Series story and website
2. A personal radioplay for the VAA
3. An audio parody for lifepoint1
4. One Piece fan dubbing

I myself will be spending a lot less time acting and more time in the producing chair the next time around. Sure I will get my own scene (as will the others) but my part will be a whole lot shorter as I want the cast members to shine. Speaking of voice actors, Ulrich's voice actor has been changed due to the fact that I found another person who sounds closer to the original so be on the look out for that.

I'm planning to show the VAs here the final product when its completed. In the past, Barbra listened to "Hidden Dangers" and loved my range of voices while Matt heard my demo and this particular episode. He commented on how he loved the voice acting cast overall and that we obviously invested a lot of time and love in this thing.

Hate to necro post but I think this is pretty important in terms of updates. I have started the producing part of episode which is the last step in a radioplay's completion. Episode two is certainly bigger and (hopefully) better than episode one.

Keep your finger's crossed for this baby.
